UPDATE: Went back for a second time before we leave. Same great service. Same great food. Where to begin. We were in Houston for NCA and found this place on Google. We called to make a reservation and they were super friendly. When we arrived they were super friendly and the staff were amazing. The food, wow, some of the best sushi ive ever had. Probably going to go back before we leave.
I was in Houston for a work trip and wanted to find a spot nearby that served lychee martinis. Sapporo Japanese Sushi & Bar did not disappoint! The lychee martini was absolutely delicious and even better because it was featured on their happy hour menu. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I would definitely recommend Sapporo to anyone looking for good sushi, great drinks, and excellent service in Houston.
Good sushi and great lychee martinis that will get you tipsy😅 Good area to go on a walk after. Street parking can be difficult during peak hrs.
Wendy was a kind, efficient and quick waitress. Casual atmosphere, good prices on sushi, get the Texans roll!
The tempura shrimp rolls were the only thing that could keep my attention after that Texans win. The food is solid, but honestly, I am the best thing in this place tonight. If you are a cutie who appreciates good taste, consider this your green light to reach out.
