Tried BBQ Garden for the first time recently and overall I really enjoyed the experience 🔥🥩 If you’re used to the all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ spots like I am, just know this restaurant is different. You order individual items or combos rather than unlimited servings. Since it was our first visit and we like trying a variety of options, we decided on the BBQ Garden Combo. The combo included beef brisket, pork brisket (which was new to me because I didn’t even know pork brisket was a thing 😂), boneless galbi, beef bulgogi, pork belly, and gochujang chicken. We substituted the gochujang shrimp for a second order of boneless galbi. It also came with rice, lettuce, and several traditional Korean BBQ sides including kimchi, fish cakes, and more 🥬🍚 For the appetizer, we chose the Jap Chae and it was EXCELLENT 😍 Fresh, flavorful, and packed with vegetables. Definitely one of my favorite things we ordered. We also added the Honey Garlic wings. One thing that makes this restaurant unique is that the BBQ is cooked over fresh charcoal instead of the standard gas grills you usually see at all-you-can-eat spots 🔥 That definitely adds to the experience and flavor. I also really liked that you dine in a private room which made everything feel more intimate and relaxed. As for the meats, the briskets and the bulgogi were easily my favorites. They cooked quickly and had great flavor. The chicken and galbi were thicker cuts, more like chunks, and seemed better suited for a stronger open flame. By the time we got to those items, the charcoal had cooled down some, so they took longer to cook. I also found the galbi a little chewier than I personally prefer. The Honey Garlic wings were good, but I expected them to be crispier 🍗 Since the restaurant feels very traditional, I honestly expected that super crispy double-fried texture Korean wings are known for. They weren’t bad at all, just not quite as crispy as I hoped. Overall, I would definitely return. The atmosphere, quality ingredients, and unique charcoal grilling experience made it worth the visit 🙌🏽

Went there with my Son's and everything cooked on the kitchen, hibachi is too slow when you're hungry. We ordered the combo with bagolgi, spicy pork, kalbi and chicken. Everything was awesome. Bon chon and rice were wonderful. Great food, great price, great service. We go as often as possible. Never a bad experience. Don't hesitate. I'm ready to go again.

This is the first time I have ordered from this place and I have to day, I door dashed my order and even received a little treat, they had added a little box with 4 taste testers of they their appetizers which was delicious and I don't know if they did it on purpose but I ordered the Jap Chea with veggies only because I simply didn't want to pay the up grade for beef since I also ordered beef bulgogi and it had beef in it all the meat was nice and smokey and it was all delicious and big portions. I definitely want to go in and experience the grilling at the table....10 out of 10

A little hole in the wall place but definitely consider it one of the best Korean restaurants in the area, without being overpriced. The service was excellent, food was delicious, they also use charcoal instead of the gas grill which is really nice. For our leftover meat, they even vacuum sealed and put ice packs with it. Definitely will come back!

Came in on a Friday night solo and the restaurant had a nice crowd. I was seated in one of those private rooms and was intending to order Korean bbq, however was told that my food was going to be grilled in the back by the staff. That was disappointing, as I enjoy the experience of cooking it on my own while it stays hot and fresh. It seems that unless you are dining with company, you will not be able to experience the KBBQ experience which is sad. I ordered the Galbi rib fingers. They were good, but quickly got cold as I was not able to cook them myself as I ate. Additionally, they charge you $2 for lettuce wraps if you don’t order KBBQ for more than one person which is crazy, as the dish I ordered was $33. I also got the spicy cold noodle naengmeyon. Very tasty and refreshing. The tteokboki was good, however the rice cakes are actually the wheat kind and NOT rice which was a surprise. I had to remind the waitress for my complementary side of white rice as well. Overall, the food is good and this could be a solid place for kbbq if they just treated solo diners as well as groups of 2+ and didn’t charge for lettuce for wraps if it comes included for kbbq for 2+.
