We decided to celebrate my son's birthday here after he saw videos on TikTok that made it appear to have a wide variety of food and options to choose from. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. When we arrived, there was only one server working. He was knowledgeable and explained how everything was prepared, which we appreciated. However, what surprised us most was that our table of four was given only a single burner and a small pot, meaning everyone had to share the same broth and food selections. The concept is essentially a hot pot with an anchovy-based broth, and you're expected to add sauces to create your own flavor profile. The raw meat options were extremely limited, with only thinly sliced beef and thinly sliced pork available. Other protein choices included shrimp, mussels, and hot dogs. There was also only one type of kimbap-style sushi roll offered. The ready-to-eat items consisted mainly of fried wings and grilled bulgogi. In the back, there was a ramen station and ice cream available for dessert. Having visited many hot pot and Korean BBQ restaurants, I've experienced much better variety, quality, and selection for a similar price point. In our opinion, this place is overpriced and overhyped considering the limited offerings. We left feeling disappointed and would not choose to spend our money here again.

Even though this is a tteokbokki restaurant, I came mainly for the fried chicken — and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken had great flavor with different options like BBQ, cheese, and spicy. The meal can be a bit carb-heavy, but it’s still very satisfying. They also have a dessert bar, which is a nice bonus. I recommend going on weekdays for lunch because the price is more reasonable. Overall, a good spot if you’re craving Korean fried chicken with lots of flavor. 🍗

Dookki hits the spot for carb lovers with their tteokbokki, kimbap, fish cake and fried dumplings—chewy, flavorful, and totally satisfying that addiction! The hot pot and Korean fried chicken were great too, with bold spices and crispy goodness. Solid Houston spot for Korean eats

Good concept but … Service and atmosphere: The service was really good. The staff members were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The restaurant wasn’t the cleanest nor well organised. The flors and table were sticky, the food stations missed plates and cutlery. The restrooms need some attention too. Food and drinks: The selection of items to cook in the pot were decent. Good number of various sauces to flavour the broth. You can opt for different noodle, mushrooms, and three different meats. There were some ready to eat fried foods, sushi and fish cakes. Our server was really nice and helped us choose three different sauces for the broth which made it very tasty and flavourful. Pricing: $$ 40 for two.

Dined in here two weeks ago. The ingredient selection is great and the price is very good. Besides the main food in the middle pot. I really like their fried chickens! It was my first time there. Will definitely go back when my friends visit. There are two reman machines (like the one you see in k drama!) as well as ice cream.
