I’ve dined in and gotten take out and both experiences were amazing. Wish I got the other side dishes for my takeout, but I always get the jokbal here it’s so good. I recommend coming here for authentic Korean food!

We went here as a party of 3 for dinner. The food was great with good portions. We got the beef and pork dishes. They had both spicy and non-spicy options. Each dish also came with side dishes like kimchi, pickled onion, etc. The dish also came with some delicious soup and a bowl of white rice. The service was 10/10 as well. The server checked on us frequently to refill our water and rice. They also had a bell for each table, so if you need service immediately you can just ring the bell. Atmosphere was good too. It wasn't too loud where we had to yell at each other to have a conversation. They also had TVs with Kpop on display. The parking spots in front of the restaurant were all taken. But it wasn't difficult to find something with a bit of walking. It was expected for a Saturday night.

This place is great! I thoroughly enjoyed the food , and the staff member who accommodated us was quiet but very swift with service and I could tell her she was doing her personal best. The Kimchi Was EXTREMELY good and satisfied my craving for some good Korean Food! The Waiter was super nice and fast and took our orders very professionally!She Is the reason I gave a 5 Star service wise! Even though the place was empty at 5 PM on 6/9/26 the atmosphere was great with fun Korean music that was not blasting my ears so I could actually speak to my friend while eating a delicious meal. The Food was amazing I will never stop being surprised by the flavors of the Soon Dae. It was hot , but not boiling it was the perfect temp for me. In Conclusion, Jang Choong Dong in Bellaire Is ONE OF OR IF THE NOT THE BEST KOREAN JOINT IN TOWN! I would highly recommend eating the SoonDae and Kimchi

HOLY THE FAMILY $99.99 is SO MUCH FOOD and it’s soooo good, like you get all the classics, 2 soups, 1 small tofu soups, 1 GIANT plate for pork, 1 whole Intestine liver blood sausage steamed basket. Low key Buncha is ight like kimchi and everything is okay but PORTION PRICE and Flavor is AMAZING. Like bring all the Koreans friends you know 6 stars

Went out to eat and had gamjatang and spicy jokbal, and both were seriously SO good! Everything was rich, flavorful, and super satisfying. Our server, Minnie, was incredibly kind and attentive, which made the whole experience even better and more enjoyable. Also, since it’s April, they’re having a gamjatang special, $10.99 so if you’ve never tried it before, this is definitely a great time to give it a shot!✨
