Had a great experience at K-Tang! The restaurant was clean and had a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The Korean BBQ was flavorful, the meat quality was very good, and the side dishes were fresh with a nice variety. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helped change the grill when needed. Service was quick, and the overall experience felt well organized. The portions were satisfying and the prices were reasonable for the quality. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for good Korean BBQ in the area.

I was seated right away, but it took quite a while before anyone brought us a menu or took our order. After we finally ordered, we waited a long time for our food. When it arrived, we realized we never received any banchan. The owner happened to notice when she brought out one of our dishes and apologized by bringing it out then. On top of that, we still hadn’t received the water and alcohol we had requested at the beginning. We had to track down a server ourselves just to get our drinks. There wasn’t really an apology—just an “okay” kind of reaction. I understand restaurants get busy, but it wasn’t even crowded. After that, no one came back to check on us. When we were finished eating, we had to walk up to the front to pay because no server ever came by. Overall, the service was very slow and disappointing. As for the food, I’d give it about a 5–6/10. It was pretty mediocre—just basic Korean food without much flavor or anything memorable. I recently moved here from California and have been searching for really good Korean food in Houston, but unfortunately this wasn’t it.

Really solid spot. I came in and a young lady helped me with my order—she was friendly and actually took the time to listen. I told her I’m allergic to pork, and she double-checked with the kitchen to make sure everything I ordered was safe, which I really appreciated. Food came out hot and tasted great. Both plates were flavorful and fresh, nothing felt rushed or sloppy. Prices were fair too for the portion size. Overall just a good, reliable place with good service. I’d come back.

This is my second time here — and honestly, every time I come, I end up having way too much fun. This place is NOT your quiet, serious Korean restaurant. It’s a Korean late-night snack bar vibe — drinks, friends, sharing plates, laughing too loud, and suddenly realizing you ordered way more food than planned (no regrets). We ordered pork back ribs BBQ, egg omelet roll, pork neck bone soup, yukhoe (beef tartare), pork jowl bossam, chicken feet, sea squirt cold noodle, and snapper cold noodle. Let’s start with the drama queen of the night — the pork back ribs BBQ. When they brought it out, I literally stopped talking. They hang the ribs on a wooden stand — like that game where you pull out the wooden sticks. It’s such a fun presentation, I was already impressed before even tasting it. And the flavor? Intense, rich, and deep. Even the bones are fully soaked with sauce. Yes — I chewed the bone. And yes — it was still flavorful. The pork neck bone soup is done right. My Korean friend approved immediately. Big portion, hot, comforting, and slightly sour from the pickled cabbage — easily enough for three people. But my personal favorite of the night is the pork jowl bossam. This is a very traditional Korean dish, and they made it even more interesting by pairing the pork with clams on the same plate. Seafood and meat together — and it actually works beautifully. The right way to eat it is to wrap the pork with lettuce, add kimchi, raw garlic, and one of their special Korean pastes (they give you two). It looks fatty, but when you bite into it, it’s silky, soft, and melts in your mouth. Totally different feeling than you expect. The chicken feet were surprisingly one of the most fun snacks. Here, you’re basically eating pure collagen. One bite, a gentle pull, and the skin slides right off the bone. No struggling. No chewing forever. Perfect bar snack. The cold noodles were honestly the most intriguing part for me. They use beet in the broth, so the soup turns a beautiful pink color. It’s sour, refreshing, and very seafood-forward. We tried both the sea squirt cold noodle and the snapper cold noodle. The fun part is that if you wait a little and go back to it later, the noodles soak up the sweet-and-sour broth and become softer and more blended. I actually enjoyed it even more the second round. This place has a serious selection of Korean alcohol — soju, liquor, cocktails, you name it. The bar is big, pretty, and perfect for a late-night snack-and-drinks hangout. Ken helped us with the dishes and the setup, and he really knows what he’s doing. He gave great suggestions and explained how to eat things properly, which made the whole experience even more fun. And can we talk about the ladies’ restroom for one second? It’s clean, nicely decorated, and actually relaxing — not one of those scary, smelly restaurant bathrooms. That small detail already tells you the owners truly care. Overall, this is the kind of place where you don’t feel rushed. When it’s not busy, the staff actually chats with you, explains the food, and makes you feel comfortable — like you’re hanging out at a friend’s place. This is my second time here, and I already know it won’t be my last. If you’re looking for a fun Korean bar-style spot where you can drink, snack, laugh, share interesting dishes, and actually enjoy the people you’re with, this is absolutely the place to go.
