I had a very good experience with Kim Shabu. The service was professional, friendly, and very attentive to detail. From the beginning, everything was handled in a very organized and efficient way. What really stood out was the level of care and dedication. They took the time to listen, answer questions, and make sure everything was done properly. It made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Kim Shabu to anyone looking for reliable and high-quality service.
We always recommend this place to friends for their noodles and kimchi, but the All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) hot pot was a real letdown. Despite there being only three tables occupied, the service was incredibly slow. After our first round, our server vanished, and we had to wave down other staff for help. The buffet management was also lacking; we had to repeatedly ask them to refill the vegetables. Even though they eventually refilled them twice, the tray went empty and stayed that way for long periods. The communication and timing were completely off. We arrived around 7:45 PM, and management should have warned us upfront that they close at 9pm. Google Maps listed their closing time as 10:00 PM, but a server came to our table at 8:55 PM to announce they were closing at 9:00 PM and would clear the buffet in 5 minutes. Giving a 5-minute warning is completely unreasonable for hot pot, which requires actual cooking time; a 30-minute last call would have been far more appropriate. We would have loved to order more meat, but with only 5 minutes left, we were forced to just grab some of their noodles to fill up and rush through our meal. Furthermore, because the meat portions were much smaller than expected, we placed next orders before completely finishing the current batch to keep pace with the slow service. In the end, we ate everything with zero leftovers, yet they still warned us about leftover charges after our third order. Stick to the noodles and kimchi—the hot pot experience is poorly managed and highly rushed.
I really love it here. I always order the shabu buffet, but they have a la cart dishes. I always recommend Kim Shabu to other people. This is one of a very few restaurants I feel like I can safely eat in and never worry about cleanliness, etc. The place is spotless. The food immaculate. The service fast and friendly.
Clean and less rowdy than other shabu places. Had a quiet dinner with my wife. Would be great if meats were thicker tho
This is a great place for hot pot! They have an amazing private room if you want to have a large party event or tables for singles, double up to 4 on the outside
