was really craving a hot stone bowl and i sure am glad i gave korea garden a try because it was delicious! came on a monday night, it wasn’t super busy so i got seated quickly and the service was great. food came out sizzling hot, and all the bonchon was amazing. prices are fair as well. i would love to come back and try the bbq setup!
This is a must try restaurant. I can't believe that it has taken all these years to discover it. Everything is absolutely delicious. We ordered the BnB Combo, Mini Bossam, estra LA Galbi, Hae Mool pah Jeon (seafood pancake), Jap Chae. We opt for them to cooked it in the kitchen vs us cooking it at the table.
Visit the restaurant with a group of 5 people on Tuesday night. We get seated right away. If you have never tried seafood jeon (korean style savory pancake), I highly recommend it. I don’t eat raw chives but you don’t really feel it when you eat seafood jeon (yummy and crispy)! The staff were kind and attentive. Many groups were there for birthday celebrations that night. They had a robot singing you a birthday songs.
Good food and atmosphere. Service and ambiance: This is nicely decorated and organised restaurant. The booth was comfortable and the grill for meat cooking was clean. The service was good. All staff were attentive and friendly. Food and drinks: The menu lists many different types of food and dishes. This is no buffet style restaurant so you can't reorder meat dishes. You can instead order combos which normally serve 2-3 people. You can always order extra dish on top of the combo. The meats were well cut and seasoned/marinated. The side dishes tested well too and you can reorder those without extra charge. There are alcoholic beverages on the menu if you are interested. Pricing: $$$ good quality comes with price.
The food and prices for this restaurant are good. We didn't get the Korean Bbq this time around, but the all the ban chan were good, and the kimchi pancake was crisp although I felt like it could use a little more kimchi flavor considering the kimchi itself was quite strong. The jap chae I got was really solid and flavorful. We'll definitely come back again to try some other dishes. This is a place you could come on a regular weekday/night to eat and relax.
