It was our first time here and all I can say is just wow! It was an amazing experience! The servers and everyone working here were so nice and helped us as this was only are second time going to a Soondubu restaurant! We got the Kimchi Pancake as an appetizer and it was amazing! The portion size is also massive! We had enough for leftovers. I got the Dumpling Soon Tofu Soup, E9 on the menu and it was amazing! The dumplings were big and plump, the tofu was super soft and smooth and the soup base was seasoned perfectly! My parents got the Chicken Hot Stone Bibimbap, E12 and the Seafood Soon Tofu Soup, E7. They absolutely loved it! They at it all and this is a first! Overall a wonderful experience and we had a great time. Would definitely come back!

I don’t usually give food reviews, but this place completely changed my mind. ♥️♥️♥️SGD Tofu House at 9875 Long Point Rd, Houston, TX 77055 They don’t have a Facebook account so I couldn’t check in. Absolutely Incredible Korean Food & Excellent Service! Not only was the service excellent—attentive, friendly, and fast—but the food itself was phenomenal. We ordered a feast and every dish hit the mark: ♥️Crispy Rice Pot with Shiitake Mushrooms:** The star of the show! The rice at the bottom of the pot was perfectly crispy (*nurungji*), and the earthy shiitake mushrooms added amazing flavor ❤️Barbecue Ribs:** Perfectly marinated, tender, and full of smoky, sweet flavor. ♥️Tofu Soup:** Served bubbling hot, incredibly comforting, and perfectly spiced. ♥️Korean Pancake:** Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and not greasy at all. ♥️Japchae:The glass noodles were perfectly chewy and tossed with fresh, flavorful veggies. #bestkoreanfood #houstonfoodies #houstonfood

SGD Tofu House is one of my go-to comfort spots. My absolute favorite is the cold noodle (Naengmyeon) — perfectly chewy, refreshing, and honestly the best meal anytime… especially after a round of golf. It just hits different. All the banchan are consistently great, and the tofu soup (I get it extra spicy) never disappoints. If you’re ordering combos, don’t forget the Spanish mackerel, spicy pork, or LA galbi, all solid choices. The kids love the tteokguk (dumpling rice cake soup), which makes it a perfect family spot too. Friendly staff, great service, and true comfort food every time. Highly recommend.

My wife and I went here for the first time today and absolutely loved it. She ordered the seafood tofu stew, and I ordered the kimchi tofu stew. We both chose mild spice, and it was perfect. The side dishes were fresh and tasty, and the rice was cooked exceptionally well. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend this place!

This was my first time coming to a mom and pop Korean restaurant and I was not disappointed. The staff was super friendly, happy to help us with questions about the menu and to make recommendations. The tofu soup was one of the best soups I have ever had! It had rich flavor and was silky smooth. You get to choose the level of spice and you get a giant bowel of it with your entrée. Highly recommend checking them out!
