Tried the Houston location recently and was pleasantly surprised. Most people recommend the spicy beef soup, but the Bossam was actually my favorite. The pork was tender without being greasy, and it had more flavor than the typical plain boiled style. Paired with pickled plum and fresh cabbage, it felt balanced and clean rather than heavy. the beef rib was also good. The beef tasted fresh and didn’t have any gamey or bloody flavor, which I really appreciated. I also liked that they used kabocha squash instead of potatoes. We ordered the pork cutlet as well ,very large portion. The flavor was decent and straightforward, probably a safe choice for kids. They offer a lunch combo from 11am–3pm where you can add a small portion of Bossam or dumplings to your main dish, which seems like a good value. Overall, a solid spot in Houston for Korean comfort food, especially if you’re craving hot soup or Bossam.

Very clean and very nice presentation. The meals are simple but taste amazing. I got the short rib stew and added blood sausage to it. Perfect harmony with the glass noodles. Great service and they refill the bonchon. Recommend A+

The Premium Seafood Pasta and Short Rib Yukgaejang were both so satisfying and flavorful! Rich, creamy, and with just the right amount of spice — definitely a heavier comfort meal, but so worth it when you’re craving Korean noodles and soup. Their banchan is always amazing too. I especially love their kimchi and would honestly buy a jar just to take home. Nice ambiance and plenty of parking!

Visited Yukdaejang Houston for my birthday and had a great experience. The restaurant is bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The beef spicy soup was rich, flavorful, and comforting, with generous portions of tender beef. The cold noodles were surprisingly good — very well-balanced and refreshing, even better than some I’ve had in Seoul. We also tried the bossam and the grilled beef patty, both well-prepared and satisfying. Overall, quality ingredients and solid execution. Would definitely come back.

restaurant had a pretty nice vibe, finding parking was tough. food was pretty good, I just felt like we were paying a little too much for what we got. we got the army stew, broth was tasty, maybe the stew could use more toppings.
