My experience with this law office was very disappointing. Based on MY conversations with my attorney, Eric Kirkpatrick, I understood that I would receive a specific amount as my take-home settlement after all fees and expenses. I accepted the settlement based on that understanding. When I went to pick up my settlement check, the amount I received was significantly LESS than what I believed we had discussed. When I asked about the difference, I was told that I had never been promised a specific take-home amount. That response was completely different from what I remember being told during our conversations. I understand that attorney fees and case expenses are part of the settlement process, but I felt misled because my understanding of what I would actually receive changed after I had already agreed to settle. This experience left me feeling that communication was unclear and being told that a conversation never happened is concerning and left me very misled!! This is only MY personal experience, but because of it, I would encourage anyone considering this firm to ask for every settlement figure—including attorney fees, expenses, liens, and your expected net recovery—in writing before agreeing to settle.

If you’re looking for a good reliable attorney, Walker Texas is the team for you. They resolved my case with great professionalism and fast.
