This is a great place to train with the best. There are so many colored belts and lots of rolls. Professor Dinko really knows his stuff and it’s nice being a part of the broader BJJ Revolution team. Tiny Tuesday is a must if you’re a lighter weight class!
Such an awesome environment. First day of class, and I was greeted with such enthusiasm and positivity. Professor Dinko made sure to show me in steps how to swim in Jiu-Jitsu waters. I was pretty nervous as I’ve never trained before. I got a sweet Gi and hit the mats nervous. I left the mats confident. If you’re in the Heights, this place is a must for all your training needs! Don’t miss this opportunity. Walk through the doors, and you won’t regret it.
Revolution Dojo in Houston Heights is a fantastic training and BJJ experience. Professor Dinko ran a tight class with specific training and then the sparring rounds were safe and effective. All of the students had great technique and were there for the love of the game. I invited a first timer who wanted to learn about BJJ and I didn't know the culture. Professor Dinko didn't let me down and did a phenomenal job in challenging the first time student but keeping them safe with a plan for training. I got to the gym earlier and watched the kids class. Coach Dinko demands discipline and the training for kids was fun but challenging. I have been a member of BJJ Revolution for six years and they have cracked the code for mastering the gentle art but turning out warriors who can compete at NAGA, IBJJF, or whatever competition level you are looking for.
Professor Dinko has built a strong, healthy community for anyone to learn jiu jitsu. He and his team of coaches lead by example and are encouraging and accessible. I trust this team to teach me and guide me. Also the gym is clean and well-kept, and the bathrooms are newly redone.
Absolutely amazing gym, friendly environment, and great people! Coach Dinko is a solid professor, and his teaching style is great and very accommodating. If you’re in the Heights, don’t hesitate to stop by!
