This was my fourth visit to Damasi Mediterranean, and unfortunately it will be my last. The food quality has gone downhill. The lamb had a very strong smell, and surprisingly even the fried chicken smelled and tasted like lamb. I'm not sure if the same oil or cooking equipment was used, but it completely ruined the flavor. The rice also had such a strong lamb smell that I couldn't even take any. One of my favorite dishes here used to be the White Sauce Alfredo, but they've changed it. It now has red sauce mixed in, and although it had chicken and mushrooms, it had almost no flavor. It was nothing like the Alfredo they used to serve. I also noticed that the pizza shown in Google photos wasn't available. We paid $52 for two people, and it was absolutely not worth the money. I left feeling very disappointed. I used to enjoy this restaurant, but after this experience I won't be coming back. If you're looking for good value and good taste, I would not recommend spending your money here.
When come to ayce this is very good. The food is a bit saltier than their non ayce counterpart probably to prevent over consumption. The beef lamb gyro is very legit. Wait for the fresh bread coming out of the oven and you got yourself a meal. Cleaning crew comes regularly to collect used plates. No additional charges for drinks. Lunch is around $20 before tip. The price has been going up steadily.
If you are into Mediterranean food, this place is heaven. They have some great meat options, (beef, chicken, fish) and vegetarian (several salads, falafel etc). They also provide some fresh out of the oven peta bread. They always have three desserts options, rice pudding, baklava and one more, along with some fruit options. One thing they need to improve is the drinks machine, sometimes it doesn’t have the flavor only the carbonated water. Never tried their coffee and tea but they look delicious.
I feel like the service wasn't so great due to the fact that today was my birthday.! I guess I was expecting. Better customer service. You should go into that place with no expectations. 😕 i think it's a little pricey, although I enjoyed their rose water, and I enjoyed their lentil soup and I would say their bread is amazing!
Visited saturday for lunch. Was hesitant at first, but loved the food and their variety of items. First time trying Mediterranean but can say worth the try.
