My husband decided to come here to grab some food for our movie night. We originally went to the Westheimer one but was told it’s under renovation, that we should come here. The person we spoke too politely gave us this address. When we arrived there were quite a few people waiting for their order which is fine. I know it’s a popular food truck. My husband and I placed our order and didn’t get a receipt. I asked the man so don’t we get a ticket? He said no, but later gave us one lol. Anyway the food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t amazing, I expected it to be better. The lamb chops were good but seem to be on the thin side. Also generally to buy rice is cheap, so larger portions of rice should be given with orders. We also got a shawarma and it was somewhat dry. The garlic sauce (white sauce is good) and they gladly gave us extra which is nice. Maybe we will be back to try to the lamb over rice.

Tried Gourmandize for a late night snack. Tried the chicken shawarma and fries. They were both really good for the price. Will definitely be back to try other menu items. Also, the customer service good and the time to get my order was very reasonable.

Absolutely delicious! 🔥 The shawarma sandwich was packed with flavor, the rice was perfectly cooked and well-seasoned, and the lamb chops were incredibly tender and juicy. Every bite was satisfying and full of rich taste. Great quality and amazing service — highly recommend and definitely coming back!🥰 👌

I stopped by Gourmandize and honestly it’s one of the best food truck experiences I’ve had in Houston.The food was absolutely top quality. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The shawarma wrap was excellent well seasoned, juicy, and generously filled. The chicken wings were also very good crispy, tasty, and cooked just right. Everything we ordered came out fresh and hot.What really made the visit even better was the service. Friendly, fast, and professional you can tell they care about their customers and their food.If you’re in Houston and want really good food from a food truck, this spot is definitely worth it. I’ll be going back for sure.

Houston's best halal Mediterranean food ever includes a special merguez sandwich, which is my favorite. You should also try the halal lamb tacos, made juicy and creamy with chimichurri sauce. The halal lamb chops are also excellent.
