I had the opportunity to enjoy Herand’s Kitchen in the Heights. Beautiful cozy restaurant. Amazing owner who was very helpful concerning the menu. I had Mediterranean Baba ghanoush, Zereshk Rice Greek salad, and garlic falafel, and every bite was absolutely phenomenal. The flavors were vibrant, fresh, and beautifully balanced from start to finish. The baba ghanoush was rich, creamy, and perfectly prepared, with a wonderful smoky depth that complemented the fresh ingredients. The Greek salad was crisp, refreshing, and loaded with flavor, showcasing the quality of each ingredient. The garlic falafel was outstanding—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned to perfection with just the right blend of herbs and spices. What impressed me most was the attention to flavor and seasoning. Nothing was overpowering, yet every dish was full of authentic Mediterranean character. It is evident that great care goes into the preparation of these foods, creating a dining experience that is both satisfying and memorable. If you appreciate fresh, flavorful Mediterranean cuisine made with quality ingredients and exceptional seasoning, I highly recommend these dishes. An absolutely delicious experience that exceeded expectations.

Herand's kitchen was a dining experience - From the atmosphere and spacious seating area, to the ambience and friendly atmosphere Herand creates, down to the food..the food was impeccable! We had been talking before the meal came and realized midway through the meal that we were suddenly just digging in quietly, fully focused on the meals once they arrived. He built that establishing with his hands and it is truly worth all the hype he gets. 10/10

I went with my brother and we both agreed that this is the best Mediterranean food we've had in a really really long time. The taste was amazing, the ingredients were fresh and good quality. The place was so clean that we thought for a minute that it just opened, what a surprise knowing that's been open for a couple of years. Idk how they do it but I can't be any cleaner. We had a good conversation with the owner, you can tell he is a man who enjoys what he does and you taste it in the food too.

This was a fantastic experience— Herand’s energy and attention to detail made the experience feel like a warm welcome. I would 100% recommend. Food was top notch, service was great and vibes are immaculate. Thank you for welcoming me and my family with so much love and care :) Will come back.

Herands kitchen is absolutely superb! I stopped in during the day and was the only customer. Luck me! Because Herand made me feel at home and prepared a fabulous meal. The food is authentic, flavor filled, and and prepared with organic ingredients. The owner Herand is a master of his craft. I’ll definitely be back with friends!
