Had a wonderful meal here. The octopus was a standout—perfectly tender! Our server was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and gave us great recommendations from the menu. The pistachio ice cream is a must-have too. The only downside is that they no longer validate valet parking since they switched parking contractors. We made reservation online so no wait at all. Definitely worth a visit.

My sister recommended this place (you can find her review here too) and it was amazing. Definitely on the pricier side but you get the value of what you’re paying for. The grilled octopus was amazing, along with the mini kebabs. Everything else was also so great. My favorite thing would probably be the desserts. The basque cheesecake is amazing but if you get the chance to get anything pistachio based, DO SO. They know what they are doing. Hope you enjoy!

Fabulous! Food ✔️ Service ✔️ Vibe ✔️ First visit here and I absolutely loved it. Me and the hubby came for date night. We opted for outside seating which was okay. They do have fans, although the Houston humidity made it a bit of a challenge. If you're going to do outside seating I would suggest going later or booking for when the sun goes down. Service was phenomenal, staff was great. Food was even better. Our server told us about the other restaurants They have in that hospitality group. We will definitely be checking those out.

I really enjoyed dining at Okto. This was my second visit, and it absolutely did not disappoint. I prefer sitting at the bar, and the service there was just as excellent as at the tables. The staff was easygoing, never pushy, genuinely knowledgeable about the menu, and made me feel truly welcome. It felt less like going to a restaurant and more like catching up with old friends. I love the atmosphere here. It’s perfectly dim for that cozy evening vibe, yet still lively and socially engaging for a night out. As for the food, presentation is unmatched. Every dish is clean, artistic, and of course, delicious. I ordered a few Valentine’s-themed non-alcoholic drinks, and honestly, you would never guess they were mocktails. They looked straight out of a food magazine and weren’t overly sweet, just beautifully balanced and very pleasant to drink. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly. I especially appreciated that they brought the house-made reduction separately and asked on the spot whether I preferred the steak soaked in the sauce or served with it on the side. It’s thoughtful details like that that truly stand out. The only thing that wasn’t my favorite was the rose dessert—the floral note in the mousse was a bit strong for my taste, but that’s purely personal since I’m not typically a fan of flower-infused desserts. Overall, I’m very happy this place exists and will definitely be coming back.

The aesthetics and ambiance were great. We loved the grilled octopus and lamb chops! The pistachio dessert was delicious and not too sweet. The cocktails were average. I’ll definitely come back to try their happy hour.
