5/5 Stars – Absolutely Fantastic! I recently visited El Tiempo Cantina at POST in downtown Houston, and it was a standout meal from start to finish. The queso flameado Poblano was delicious—rich, perfectly seasoned, and served piping hot with that beautiful flameado finish. It was everything you want and then some. But the real star of the night was the surf and turf fajitas. Hands down, these were probably the best fajitas I’ve ever had. The beef and aji tuna were incredibly tender, packed with bold flavor, and sizzled perfectly at the table. The fixings were fresh, the tortillas warm, and every bite was a perfect balance of smokiness and seasoning. On top of the outstanding food, the service was great—our server and the whole staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. I’ll definitely be back soon. If you’re in the area and craving authentic, high-quality Tex-Mex, El Tiempo Cantina at POST is a must-try!
I reside downtown and am thrilled about this addition to the post HTX building. Situated to the right of the 713 music hall, it offers convenient access and ample parking if needed. On Mondays, they offer $5 margaritas, and on Wednesdays, they provide half-price fajitas! I’ve become a regular here. The highlight of the menu is the incredibly affordable HH food items. It’s an ideal spot to enjoy a margarita before the show or a night out! Priscila, the lead bartender is the best! My friend
Precella the bartender is super nice and makes the best margaritas. I like to order the Sangria frozen margarita with a shot on the side. Absolutely love this new location in downtown. The staff is great and the service is awesome.
The flavor is amazing, they have very good margaritas and palomas. The service is great! They validate the parking for 2 hours.
