Had a great experience at Guadalajara del Centro! The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. A great place to enjoy Mexican food in Houston. Definitely worth a visit!
Hands down the best street corn I've ever had. I also got one of the platters so I could try more. If I wasn't already famished, a platter could feed two. My server Mark was very nice, and even offered me jalapenos or habeneros when the food arrived. Overall amazing restaurant
Delicious food and conveniently located near the Toyota Center, GDC was the highlight of our dining experience in Houston. Our server Martin was attentive to our requests and knowledgeable of the menu. The decor added ambience and the busy lunch crowd never got loud. Just a fabulous meal and overall dining experience. I would definitely visit again.
The food is over priced mexican food. Of course this is a downtown location, so it maybe more of a tourist attraction. The best part of the meal was the before fajitas. The service is good; however the staff don't look too happy. We were not at all impressed with the food. Of course, I always say to give it a try. It may be your type of food. 🦋
My order was ready at 6:30pm. I arrived shortly after and had to stand for over 5 minutes by the pickup section at the bar. Not one of the two bartenders acknowledged my presence. They kept walking away to make drinks. My food was just sitting there behind the counter until I asked the hostess if she could retrieve my food. The quality of the food made up for the bad service, but I probably won’t return. My lunch hour was wasted waiting for something I ordered over 40 minutes ago.
