The quality is consistently excellent. Fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned dishes, and large portions make this a go-to spot whenever I’m craving halal food. Friendly staff and a welcoming environment made the experience even better. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a satisfying halal meal. I’ll definitely be returning soon.

Service was friendly and fast. The food was good and while the beef was good, preferred the chicken wrap. I'd skip the hummus next time as wasn't real flavorful.

We stumbled into Abu Omar during a late-night Houston layover, completely lost and trying to figure out how to get back to Canada. Best wrong turn we’ve made in a long time. The food was incredible. The fries were unreal, the meat was packed with flavor, and the portions were absolutely ridiculous. As they say, everything is bigger in Texas—and apparently that includes the wraps, the platters, and my expectations for late-night food. The staff were awesome too. One of the guys even charged Brittany’s phone while we ate, which may have been the only reason we will find our way back to the airport. At one point I looked down at my plate and honestly thought they had accidentally served us enough food for a family of six. Nope. Just Texas. Great food, great people, and one of those random travel stops that ends up becoming the highlight of the trip. 10/10. We came looking for a meal and left with enough leftovers to invade a small country. 🤠🍟🌯🤣
