Layal Middle Eastern Restaurant is a gem in Houston. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything we ordered was well-seasoned and authentic, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal, and the staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. You can really feel the love for the cuisine here, home made breads and all. Highly recommend if you’re craving quality Middle Eastern food. We’ll definitely be back!
I just read a bad review about Cafe Layal in Midtown Houston....and I will say that review is just a stuck up person complaining. Cafe Layal has been in business many years. They offer a variety of very healthy quality Mediterranean food. The owner is there just about every day. He cares about his staff, his business, his customers. They have fresh smoothies and hookah. The prices are very reasonable. Clean establishment great servers friendly atmosphere. Eat on the patio or inside. This establishment also caters to many celebrities weekly for decades. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this restaurant. Do not believe they bad reviews.
“Michelle at Layal was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, she was welcoming, professional, and incredibly attentive. She made sure everything was perfect and went above and beyond to provide excellent service. Her positive attitude and attention to detail really made the whole experience enjoyable. You can tell she genuinely cares about customers and takes pride in her work. Highly recommend asking for Michelle if you visit Layal — she’s the best!”
Great place to chill. They have pretty decent Mediterranean food, but not the top notch and price reflects that. My friend likes to go here for hookah all the time, but i cant speak for it since i dont smoke. Staff is very nice and friendly!
Good place to kill some time. Parking is hard to find on the weekend and it is $10 valet parking. The food was alright. We ordered the hummus and it was dry. Their french fries are good. We got a blueberry mint hookah on an orange head, but the flavor didn’t last long. The staff was very friendly and kind. I like how you can BYOB.
