So delicious. I paid a little over $20 before tip for the two-wrap combo, which came with smokey yellow rice and a soda. The Philly Cheese wrap was really good, but the Chicken Shawarma wrap was the standout for me. Both had lots of great flavors. The Trust Me sauce was excellent too..garlicky and tangy with a little tiny bit of heat. Even after walking back to the office, the food was still warm and the wraps stayed crispy, which was nice. I’ll definitely be back soon. My only wish is that they had their own delivery service. The owner mentioned the menu prices are the same on delivery apps like DoorDash as they are in person, which is great!!..but those extra service fees, delivery fees, and tip add up quickly. And if you work in downtown Houston, you probably know grabbing food in person isn’t always as easy as it sounds. More often than not, you get approached by people asking for money or food, which can make a quick lunch run less comfortable. That said, the food is absolutely worth it!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Habibi Deli absolutely understood the assignment. 😮‍💨🔥 We grabbed two of the 2-wrap combos, so naturally we had to go all in. Our lineup was the Chicken Shawarma, Kebab, Philly, and Buffalo Chicken wraps, all served with smoky yellow rice and a side of their Trust Me Sauce... and yeah, trust them. 😂 Every wrap was loaded with filling and packed with melty cheese that gave us those Instagram-worthy cheese pulls. The Chicken Shawarma was juicy and full of flavor, the Kebab was perfectly seasoned, the Philly was cheesy, beefy comfort food, and the Buffalo Chicken brought just the right kick without overpowering everything else. The smoky yellow rice was fluffy and flavorful, but that Trust Me Sauce deserves its own fan club. And here's a little pro tip: if you aren't dipping your wrap in the Trust Me Sauce and then into the rice, you're eating it wrong. 😂 That combo is ridiculously good. What made the experience even better was the owner. The customer service was top-notch—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel like valued guests instead of just another order. To top it all off, he surprised us with a S'mores Wrap on the house, and wow... what a way to end the meal. Gooey, sweet, chocolatey perfection that disappeared way too fast. 🍫🔥 Portions were generous, prices were fair, and honestly, we were full long before the food ran out... but somehow we kept eating anyway. No regrets. 😅 If you're anywhere near Habibi Deli (415 1/2 San Jacinto, Houston, TX), do yourself a favor and stop by. Come hungry, bring a friend, dip your wrap in the Trust Me Sauce and the rice, and save room for dessert—you'll thank me later. 10/10 — we'd happily wrap ourselves around another order. 🌯🔥🍫

Check them out, you will not regret it! So much flavor! If that photo of the empty container doesn't tell you this place is fire, you haven't tried a shwarma chicken wrap from my boy Hanni. He's the owner of Habibi Deli and he make his own signature sauce that is out of this world! Straight fire 🔥! Delicious in every way possible with so much flavor. I was impressed by how filling it is, not to mention affordable. Not fast food, this is like a home cooked meal. Will be a return customer for sure! May your business grow exponentially and with overflowing abundance, Hanni!

Tried this place downtown and I’m so glad I did. The food was delicious and the service was really great you could tell they actually care about the people coming through the door. The owner just moved here and took over the spot from the previous owner, and he’s already making it his own. It’s refreshing to have something different around here for once. This won’t be my last visit for sure!

Great little shop! Concise breakfast and lunch menu. Decent prices and good food! The owner was genuine and kept busy, made us feel very welcome. There are only three tables in the 12x10ish dining area so be prepared to wait or take your food to go. We ordered the Cali Sandwich and the Cheeseburger. Both came with fries. Both got eaten happily. Will return! Thanks Louis!
