I am very disappointed with the quality of the shellac manicure I received. It has only been one week since my appointment, and several nails are already lifting, peeling, and chipping around the edges and cuticle area. A shellac manicure should last much longer than this, especially after just a few days. I have had shellac done many times before and have never experienced this level of lifting so quickly. I paid for a professional service expecting quality and durability, but unfortunately the manicure did not hold up. I reached out with photos hoping for a resolution and am still waiting to see how the situation will be handled. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously and improves the quality of its application process and customer service. Update: I am willing to update this review if the salon provides a fair resolution to the issue.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had such an amazing experience at Dorando Nail Salon! From the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming, professional, and made me feel comfortable. The salon was clean, relaxing, and had such a great atmosphere. 💅✨ A huge thank you to Mina for doing such an incredible job on my nails! She was patient, detailed, and made sure everything came out perfect. You can truly tell she cares about her work and her clients. My nails came out BEAUTIFUL and exactly how I wanted them! 😍🔥 If you’re looking for a nail salon with amazing customer service and quality work, I definitely recommend asking for Mina at Dorando Nail Salon. I will absolutely be coming back! 💖✨

The first time I came had the most amazing experience with Marian! She did the best nails and has the best service… yesterday she wasn’t working and everything just went downhill. Hard to find the same products as the first time (not all techs are familiar with all the products) had to ask multiple times for my complementary drink (they just don’t care for the service) and had to make sure they were doing what I asked for (as they want to do more expensive services and then just charge you at the end) the salon has everything you need, it would be the best place to get nails done in Houston if everyone worked like Mari. Just make an appointment with her and you’ll have the best experience.. for the rest is no better than any other place 🤷‍♀️ in the photos I want to show that they look decent as they were just done but you can she the paint that went over the border of the nail, in a few days I know I’ll need a new set as the edges are not smooth and stuff will they in there… just sad I have to pay so much to not be happy because of the lack of consistency

Hubs & I came for a double pedicure ~ it was lovely and so relaxing. Last minute I asked for a gel manicure with acrylic tips and Tony delivered! He was wonderfully personable, and took great care with my nails. Dorado is clean, calm, and the staff took great care of us. I would love to come back!

I came up to get my nails done and I asked for black short nails with a star on each finger. I was hella surprised when he said 70 dollars but we were in an expensive area, so I was expecting it. I went to get my nails done by "the best nail tech at the salon" and she had great service, however she did not get the side of my nails, they were uneven (she kept comparing my nails), and over all it was a shitty polish. I didn't even notice until I was in the car. NOT EVEN A WEEK LATER THE PAINT CHIPS OFF!?? I hadn't done anything at all. I am 15 years old and I don't really like to say "hey can you fix this or this isn't right" but now I know to not leave any place without getting your money's worth, and to not look at a fancy place and automatically think they're the bomb because 9/10 they're not.
