Love this place! I usually get my pedicures done here, and they never fail. However, today I decided to go in for a French tip acrylic set—and wow. Ethan did an amazing job!! The entire service was perfect. I loved his attention to detail, and I really appreciated how he checked in with me at each step to make sure I liked the color, shape, and overall look before proceeding. I will definitely be coming back for both manicures and pedicures from now on 🙂

contemplating whether to post this, but after seeing someone else share a similar experience, I felt like sharing mine as well. Back in February, I got my nails done at this salon and immediately noticed that my cuticle had been cut on two of my nails. On one of them, I noticed a small bump starting to develop. I didn’t mess with it because I didn’t want to make it worse or risk an infection, so I honestly didn’t think much of it at first. (To also add, every time I got my nails done here, I would always leave with cuts) I attached a picture of the bump when it was tiny as well as how bad my cuticles looked. You can definitely see the cuts and irritation.. Unfortunately, over time, the bump continued to grow and became painful. When I returned to the salon for another appointment, I brought it up to the nail tech and explained that I had been cut during a previous appointment and was experiencing pain. Instead of addressing my concerns, I was told that the bump did not come from the salon and that I must have gotten it somewhere else. I explained that I had been going to this salon multiple times and that I had first noticed the issue after one of my appointments there. I eventually stopped going because I no longer felt comfortable with the way my hands and nails were being handled. Months later, the bump is still there and has continued to worsen. I’ve been told that it appears to be paronychia, and unfortunately, I now need to go to urgent care to have it properly evaluated and treated. I also had a few other experiences with certain nail techs that made me uncomfortable. On one occasion, a tech became visibly bothered because I took a phone call during my appointment and eventually got up and had another tech finish my nails. I want to be clear that I have had good experiences with the owner, and I think she is very nice. My concerns are specifically regarding some of the technicians and how my nails and hands were handled. I’m sharing this because I think people should be aware and make their own informed decisions. If you choose to visit this salon, please pay attention to how your cuticles are handled and whether the tools and equipment appear properly sanitized. If you notice anything unusual after an appointment, don’t ignore it. This has been going on for months, and I wish I had addressed it more seriously when I first noticed the bump.

My first experience with them was positive, with friendly and welcoming staff. However, I expressed concerns about my sensitive nails and requested Russian techniques to prevent damage. Despite this, the gel did not last even two weeks, peeling off prematurely. As shown in the picture, my nails looked terrible underneath once the gel came off. I am extremely disappointed with the results and will not return for another visit.

I’ve been going to Uptown Galleria Nails for almost 8 years, and I truly wouldn’t go anywhere else! Ethan and Kelly are the absolute best. I always have such a great experience, and they consistently do an amazing job. I drive an hour just to come here, and it’s 100% worth it every time. If you’re looking for a nail salon you can trust, I highly recommend Uptown Galleria Nails!
