Evolutionary Eye Care off 1000 Main St is by far the best place to go for eye care. The service is excellent and has a very pleasant atmosphere with refreshments. They offer such a wide variety of designer glasses along with a thorough eye exam. I very rarely leave reviews but felt this place deserved a comment from a very satisfied customer for life. Thank you, ladies for being so patient and kind with me today as you can see I was a bit frazzled.

The service I received from Dr. Gupta was wonderful! She was very kind and explained everything step by step as she was doing it. She ensured that all my questions were answered no matter how many times I asked. She made the visit so smooth and actually enjoyable. The front desk girls were very patient with me when checking me in! They all had smiles and great attitudes! Melissa especially was great! She did my exams and explained everything ! She was patient with me and very knowledgeable. I would HIGHLY recommended this practice.

Just realized i never left a review since the past year has been crazy but everything is still pretty fresh in my mind. I made an appointment in June of last year to have scleral lenses made because I have moderate to severe keratoconus, and these contacts are the only thing that allow me to see clearly. My review is strictly based on that experience, as I wasn’t really focused on anything else. Overall, my experience was incredible. The staff always answered the phone, responded to my questions, handled my insurance, and took care of everything perfectly. When I was first considering going here, I sent an email through their website’s messaging system, and Dr. Pillai personally responded. He has always replied quickly, which is pretty impressive to me because getting in touch with the actual doctor is nearly impossible at a lot of practices. I was fitted for my lenses on my first visit in under two hours, and my first pair was ready in the office about 1–2 weeks later. That fit was pretty good but needed a few small tweaks. At my next follow‑up visit, Dr. Pillai ordered a new set with the changes I requested and had them shipped to my home. I received them about four days later. That set fit great, and my vision was about as good as it could be. I had one more follow‑up appointment to confirm the final fit, and that was it. I’ve worn sclerals for about 14 years now and have been fitted at a decent amount of places so I can say pretty confidently that Dr. Pillai is one of the best in the Houston area. So yeah if you need sclerals for whatever reason and you're concerned about insurance coverage or the fit not being comfortable or if you can insert and remove them or the doctor not being experienced etc id say just go to evolutionary eye care , Dr Pillai will definitely take care of you. Remember to always ask questions and advocate for yourself , your health matters

Super friendly staff and may be the easiest eye exam I’ve ever had. Focus on patient and questions to help root out any risks/problems. Will happily recommend them to anyone searching for an eye doctor.

I visited the downtown location after also being a patient at the Webster and Sugarland location and I can tell you the quality of service at this location is equal to the rest. It is a great place to get your eye care needs if you need them in our located in downtown. My doctor was very nice and the staff was equally accommodating. They validate parking and I was in and out of my appointment within 25 minutes start to finish.
