My husband came in for his first eye exam with Memorial Park Vision. They use modern equipment during the preliminary testing and Dr. Heine was such a delight. She was attentive, thorough in explaining results, and genuinely caring throughout the exam. Where the service fell short was the glasses fitting. Given this was my husband's first time in glasses, there was a lack of professional guidance. It felt more like 'go look for the glasses you want, and let us know when you are ready so we can give you pricing.' Before moving away, I worked as an Optical Manager for 11 years so I’m very familiar with what strong optician support looks like. The optician side of the experience here unfortunately did not meet that standard. An optician should be there to guide patients post-exam to ensure he is picking the right eyewear for his prescription, face framing, introduce the collections offered, review insurance coverage, and present lens & coating options. During our visit, no one checked on us or offered assistance while we were selecting frames. I'm glad I was there to provide the knowledge and support during this process. This should be customary to avoid lab errors and best optics for the patient. That said, the doctor and clinical side of the practice were excellent. If Memorial Park Vision strengthened the optical experience and customer service to match the quality of care provided by Dr. Heine and her team, they would truly be an outstanding all-around destination for eye care.
I highly recommend Memorial Park Vision for your next eye appointment! The staff was friendly, professional, and upfront about any costs not covered by insurance, giving me the opportunity to opt out ahead of time and avoid any surprise charges. Dr. Nancy Heine was incredibly knowledgeable. I've been wearing contacts for 18 years, and she shared information about contact lens wear and care that no other provider had ever discussed with me. Her recommendations have already improved my comfort and will hopefully help extend the life of my lenses. She was also the first doctor to tell me that I qualified for insurance benefits that completely cover a year's supply of contacts. I only wish I had found Memorial Park Vision and Dr. Heine sooner. Now that I have, I won't be going anywhere else!
I was seen quickly for an eye issue and was very impressed with everyone. Dr Heinie was excellent. She was friendly, asked great questions and did a thorough exam. I will highly recommend to friends.
1 Star – Shocking Lack of Professionalism and Follow-Up I am beyond disappointed with my experience at Memorial Park Vision. I originally chose this office based on a recommendation, and I will admit, the first day was great. They treat you well to your face, but their follow-up and communication are quite literally the "worst of the worst." The Timeline of Neglect: • The Initial Order: I placed my contact lens prescription order months ago. After hearing nothing for a long time, I called to check in. They casually brushed off the fact that I had no contacts left, giving me a single daily pair to "tide me over." • The "Mistake": They claimed my first order was never actually put into the system. They apologized, promised they had placed it "this time," and told me I’d receive a call the second they arrived. • The Silence: Months went by again. No call. No update. Nothing. I have been struggling without my prescription because I trusted them to do their jobs. • The Final Straw: Today, frustrated and having given up on them, I decided to just order my lenses online myself. I called the office simply to get my prescription details so I could take my business elsewhere. Only then did the receptionist casually mention that my contacts have been sitting in their office the whole time. From 12/11/2026 until today, I have been waiting for news that was apparently sitting on their shelf. It is insulting that a business claiming to "care" for their patients’ vision would allow someone to go months without being able to see properly simply because they couldn't be bothered to make a two-minute phone call. If you value your time and your eyesight, go somewhere else. I will never be coming back to this office. They are completely unprofessional when it comes to basic customer service and follow-up
Always great service at Memorial Park Vision. Staff is friendly, prompt and attentive. Dr Howard is a great optometrist and is always friendly and upfront with exam results.
