I’ve been craving Peruvian food since travelling there years ago, and this place absolutely delivered! It was just bringing back all the wonderful memories! We got some ají de gallina (my fav), fried fish with yucca and fried rice, and some chicha morada. Everybody coming here was speaking Spanish with the staff. Really authentic food. Generous portions. I love this place so much! Highly recommend 😊
listen… I was not prepared for the amount of food I got for what I paid. I ordered a half fried / half ceviche seafood plate with pickled red onions, fried yuca, and some kind of nuts. Not gonna lie, the nuts threw me off a bit (probably a texture thing), but everything else? On point. The seafood was fresh and delicious. Calamari, octopus, fish, oysters, shrimp… all of it got devoured. But that tartar sauce? Yeah… that stole the show. Seriously. By the time I finished, I lowkey regretted eating that heavy, especially while working, but man… let me tell you, that meal was worth it. Pricey when it was all said and done, but honestly? Worth the price. Say it with me: fish are food, not friends… and Peru Cafe Express makes them scrumptious.
I loved the food there! We had lomo saltado and the steak with fettuccine. Both of them were very delicious. The price was good too. We definitely visit there again.
Food was decent and the portion sizes were really generous 😊 we definitely over ordered. The trio sampler was a standout and a great way to try a little bit of everything.
Excelente el sabor casero peruano (y latinoamericano) Amazing homemade latin american taste! I tried their Lunch Menu ($12.99 as of this date) - specifically the grilled chicken with mushroom sauce - and it was delicious. It came with rice, roasted potatoes, and soup. Amazing deal and amazing flavor. I will be back to try their main menu.
