I came to this place looking for a restaurant where I could eat regularly during my workdays. On my first visit, I realized they are not flexible at all if you want to remove or substitute something on your plate. For example, there was no way they would replace the fries with rice, which I found unreasonable. My second visit was better thanks to a young waitress whose name I don’t remember. She was much friendlier. On my third visit, I ordered a dish that came with beans. When it arrived, it looked very unappetizing. Half of the plate was covered with watery beans that had mixed with the meat sauce, making the whole dish look unpleasant. I asked if they could replace it, but the answer was a firm NO. So I had to order a different meal, and I ended up paying for both dishes. I definitely won’t be coming back. On top of that, I found the prices to be quite expensive every time I visited. They really need to improve their customer service and the presentation of their food.

I went to Sabor y Sazón Peruvian Restaurant, and I was not very happy with my visit. The place was empty at lunchtime, which felt a little strange. Since I was new to the place, I asked the server for some suggestions and she was completely clueless. So, I ordered ceviche, but honestly, I have had better at other places. The portion was very small, but the price was very high. The lemon taste was too strong, and I could not taste the fish at all. I was expecting some chifles to be included with the price but none were offered. I also got a drink, chicha morada, but same problem, it was too small for the price. However, the chicha morada tasted good. The tables were clean, the music was not too loud, and the server was nice. Overall, I expected more for the price. I don’t think I will come back.

Going to agree Like other reviewers comments said, yes it’s expensive what you get of the portion. I did a pickup order 4:10pm on a Sunday cuz I’m in limited time for work , cost $24 for that green noodle steak dish . I’m about to finish going to every Peruvian restaurant in Houston. So I can say this, this restaurant is like if you are “craving Peruvian food but too lazy to drive far for a good one”.

My fiancee and I really enjoyed this place. I've been wanting him to try great Peruvian food just like my Tia's cooking. Just after one bite of the empanada and he was loving it. The staff are super sweet and the atmosphere is very calming. Definitely coming back to try other dishes.

This small Peruvian restaurant has consistent quality from the owner and chef from Lima, Peru. Very relaxed environment and friendly service. All of the dishes I have tried over the years have never disappointed. I highly recommend the Leche de Tigre.
