I signed up with HomeTeam Pest Defense based on a recommendation from our builder, assuming they were trustworthy. When I called, I clearly explained that we were dealing with a spider problem. The sales rep signed us up for $45/month, and I specifically asked if there would be any penalties or fees if we decided to cancel. I was told no. After signing up, the first technician who came out told my husband that spiders aren’t really covered and that the service wouldn’t effectively address them. That was extremely frustrating because it directly contradicted what we were told when we signed up. We gave them a chance anyway. Two months later, we were still seeing spiders, along with ants in the shower and roly polies. I scheduled another visit, and while the technician retreated, it made absolutely no difference. We are still dealing with the same issues, and I have photos documenting it. Now, when I try to cancel, they’re attempting to charge a cancellation fee- something I explicitly asked about upfront and was told did not exist. This experience has been disappointing from start to finish: misleading information, ineffective service, and poor follow-through. I would strongly recommend getting everything in writing and considering other options before signing up.

We have been using Home Team Pest Control for a while now. We always receive excellent service. Their products work very well. Been in our home for 6 years and we have never had bugs if any kind inside. On the recent visit, Tech Freddy Vicente did an excellent job. He was fast and very efficient. He called me before the visit and was prompt on his arrival. Very polite person. Great Job Freddy and Home Team..

I have been using your services since 2019 and overall I can say that I am satisfied with the company. I've had no issues when I've called in for service or retreats in between services and every service person you send out is always professional and courteous and respectful of my time and my property. I will continue using this service thank you

BAD! STOP! Do NOT use these people. I have emailed them 4 times over 2 months to cancel my services. I never got a response. I even called and spoke to someone telling them to cancel my services. They said they would "put in a ticket cancel". They still charge me and never answer emails. I have been charged TWICE since contacting them to get these services canceled! I am contacting the BBB.

Home Team Pest Defense is so amazing! They have great scheduling, the technicians are knowledgeable and courtesy. They are patient, understanding and eager to assist with all pest control needs. I would highly recommend this company!
