The courts are pretty good here. However, color coding is very bad and lighting seems to be an issue as u get these glares from above, which distracts shots. Also certain courts seem to be darker than others as far is lightning. They have 11 courts to play on. I have notice they usually 3 are reserved, so that still leaves about 8 to play open play on. Check in process is simple. Just scan and go. And place your paddles, till it’s your turn to play. Turnover is pretty fast.

Recently played a tournament here and overall, this is a solid pickleball facility. The space is large, well lit, and kept very clean. It’s easy to get to since it’s right off the freeway, and there’s plenty of parking which is a big plus when events get busy. My only real complaint is the court colors. The kitchen is the same color as the rest of the court, which makes tracking the ball a bit difficult—especially during fast hands battles. Also, for the size of the tournament, there didn’t seem to be enough staff. Things ran, but you could feel the strain. The restrooms took a beating because of the sheer number of players and spectators—not really the staff’s fault, just the reality of big events. Having more staff on duty would definitely help with crowd flow and facility upkeep during tournaments. Overall though, I’d still recommend this place. The space and setup are great, and with a few adjustments—especially more staff for events—it could easily become a top pickleball location.

I’m new to Sugar Land and decided to check this place out during open play. The area for paddles was not maned and therefore people remained on the court without any real rotational system for open play. It took me mentioning this to the person at the front desk who casually checked and then went back to the front. I didn’t play until maybe 45 minutes in. This was by far my worst pickle ball community experience. The goal of open play is to meet new people and face varying opponents within your skill level. For the final 30 minutes, a young man finally came and manned the station which allowed for order and fairness.

So glad they added a solid indoor pickleball place in Southwest Houston!! Pickle Point has great courts, love the high ceilings, and the seating area is comfortable and spacious. There’s also a wonderful community growing too :) Thanks to Eli on the staff for being so welcoming and nice as well!
