We booked for drop in for 3 of us. We travelled almost 30 mins to this as we were unfamiliar having come from Canada. We found some people to play with and played 7 games between 1-4 for $5 each- great Value!!! Great courts and lighting. Easy entry and exit.
I went to 24hr pickle for the first time on Friday. I was very suprised of the amount of people who signed up for the 10-1. I was happy with the cleanliness of the facility along with the competition. I play 4.0+ and I was able to find at least three other teams to play against.
It was decent before, but went downhill lately. The facility is now with broken door, covers, peeling floor and in court 1 even need a bucket when it rains. All the promised stuffs like Shower, water fountain, even changing room never came and no update from owner. They're also getting so greedy, that when open play from 7-10, they allow 70 people, sometime down to 55 is the least, but they let people rent 4 courts out of 8. yes, you got the math right. There are only 4 open court for 70 people. I don't understand why they don't limit court rental on peak time to 2, even 3 is ok. If it's not the only court near home, I would have not come. Look like there are more choices coming in the next few weeks for the area. But if you haven't join, don't join. It's more expensive, and they try to charge for everything: $10 cancelation fee (which was never agreed to in our contract) I gave it 2 stars instead of one because of the location.
3 stars for always being open, having a good selection of drinks and snacks, awesome courts with instant replays. I would have given 5 stars, but people should know that it’s very clicky with the play. Groups of friends go, and they use open play as a cheaper way to play with each other. I still go when it’s the only option left, but it would be nice if others would treat it like a lot of other courts where you put your paddle up and next stack goes. And if it’s 3 paddles in that group, and that group of four just left the court, then 1 person should join the new stack.
The place has been going downhill. Three courts had water on it from a ceiling leak and also during open play, no one manages the courts and making people switch out. I’d recommend going somewhere else due to better prices and better service.
