Loving class at Citizen! The location is so close, which was the initial draw. After starting, the instructors are great, the classes are small, in the studio is very welcoming. He really enjoyed the pace and intensity of everyone. I have tried so far. Looking forward to more classes in the future!

I live in Spring Branch and passed by this place on my drive home everyday. I’m a teacher off for summer break and wanted to use this time to try something new, so I started with the 3 class beginner offer. I come from a dance and yoga background but was nervous to start. I was pleasantly surprised that I picked things up pretty quick in the reformer 101 class. Jess was so encouraging in that class, and after confirmed I was ok to move up to the faster paced classes. So far every instructor I’ve tried has been great! It’s such a good full body workout to incorporate in my workout rotations. I like that every class is a different routine, and every instructor has their own style. I’m excited to come back for more!

Trying Pilates for the first time can be a little intimidating, but all of the instructors at Citizen Pilates have made me feel so comfortable and welcome from day one. I’ve even had the chance to meet with the instructors before class, which really helped ease any nerves. They take the time to explain movements clearly and create a really encouraging environment. It’s a great mix of core work, balance, and strength. I also really appreciate that they check in after class and ask for feedback to make sure I enjoyed the session. If you’re a beginner, you can always start with the Reformer 101 classes and work your way up to the regular Reformer classes. Even in the regular classes, they offer different variations of movements for all levels—beginner, intermediate, and advanced—so you never feel out of place. The overall vibe is welcoming and not intimidating at all. Definitely recommend for anyone new to Pilates or looking for a positive, motivating studio!

I am so happy I found Citizen Pilates. The instructors are very kind and motivating. I appreciate that there are 3 different locations, so there are a lot of different class options, and I like the variety of switching studios. My core has definitely gotten stronger since starting pilates, and now I go almost every other day.
