After wanting to try Gold Tooth Tony's in The Heights for such a long time, I finally decided to give it a try yesterday, and it was a complete success. We ordered two of their signature Houston-style pizzas and a Detroit-style pizza, and all of them were outstanding. The pizzas took about 18–20 minutes to come out, so next time I'll probably place my order online to save some time. The flavor combinations were excellent, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. One thing I especially loved about the Houston-style pizzas was the crust — perfectly crispy and packed with texture. The Detroit-style pizza deserves a special mention. The dough was incredibly light and fluffy, and the sauce had a unique flavor that really made it stand out. My favorites were the Veg Supremeand, Meat lovers and the Hunger Force, I highly recommend for their amazing combinations of toppings and flavors. I've been to many pizza places around Houston, and after this first visit, I can easily say that Gold Tooth Tony's belongs in my top 10 pizza spots in the city. The place itself is pretty small, so I would recommend it more as a takeout spot than a dine-in destination. That said, the quality of the pizza makes it absolutely worth the visit. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu.

Definitely one of the best pizzas we ever had…we ordered the Meat Lovers - Detroit Style!!! The pizza seems small but is very filling…we ordered a pizza and garlic parm wings…they were very good as well. It did not come with ranch 😔. Aldi Parking is tight…but folk don’t stay too long. They received a million and one pickup orders so you know it’s good. Price was a little high but are in line with other Premium Options. Would definitely recommend 10 out 10.

My first Tony’s Gold Tooth Detroit style pizza was a very tasty winner!! One of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time! Savory sauce, good amount of cheese and the pepperoni was exceptional!!! The crust was fluffy but firm and crispy on the edges as prescribed by tradition…easy order and pick up - will definitely go back for more!!

Total chef’s kiss for Gold Tooth Tony’s on North Sheppard. The Detroit-style pizza is a masterpiece—honestly, every single bite was perfect. The ratio of that cheesy, crunchy-edged dough to the toppings and cheese is exactly where it needs to be. That marinara sauce on top was "perfecto" and paired so well with everything else; it really let the quality of the ingredients shine through flavorfully. If you're looking for the perfect crunch and authentic flavor, this is it. 5 stars.

Top notch Detroit style pizza! Honestly, I’m not the kind of person to crave pizza frequently unless it’s from gold tooth Tony’s. The marg is what I’ll typically go for & it’s plenty to feed 2 people. The crust is always so perfectly crispy, and the cheese just melts in your mouth with every bite.🍕
