There are not enough amazing things I can say about the team at Thrive Therapy Houston. As a fellow therapist, I have a (some would say, unreasonably) high standard for therapists who I refer clients or colleagues to for therapy or consultation. And yet, I would recommend the therapists at Thrive without hesitation. They are trained *well* beyond the standard levels of other therapists, and this is because of their deep commitment to continued learning and growth as therapists, as well as deep self-knowledge and introspection (a necessity in any good therapist, especially trauma therapists). I used Kirsti at Thrive to provide EMDR consultation to myself and my team, and I couldn't have made a better decision. Not only is her warmth incredibly disarming, she is also amazingly smart and skilled at conveying complex concepts. She carries this incredible balance of depth, insight, and compassion- all while being incredibly humble. I feel so grateful to have the Thrive team as trusted colleagues, as I would send my dearest loved ones to the Thrive team, in a heartbeat.

I can’t say enough good things about Kirsti and the team at Thrive! Kirsti cares so deeply for her clients and gives her full attention to each session. You can tell that this is not just a job for Kirsti, but truly and passion. She has a desire to ensure each person she interacts with is seen and heard. Love this place and these people!!

Thrive Therapy Houston provides such an amazing service. The environment is so supportive and non-judgemental. The therapists really meet you where you are at and help you learn the skills you need to tackle whatever challenges you are currently facing, and then use those skills to help you in the future. I know Kirsti has a background in working with young children and teens (you can see tons of play therapy toys and games when you come into the office), but she has really helped me in working through stress I have in my personal and professional life. I can't recommend this organization enough.

I highly recommend Kirsti and her practice. She is extensively trained in trauma modalities and brings a compassionate, non-judgmental perspective to working with her clients. She has a warm, calming presence and I trust any clients I refer to her will be in good hands!
