If you’re a seller looking for an agent who will go above and beyond to protect your interests… Wayne Cohen not be the agent for you. As buyers, we had the unique experience of watching a home sit on the market for six months despite having a brand new roof, new hot water heater, updated plumbing, and a lifetime foundation warranty. Thankfully, we were able to step in and purchase the home at a price that ended up being $23,000 below the appraised value — so from the buyer’s side, we couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. The negotiation process was especially memorable. Our first offer was described as “offensive,” yet when the same offer was presented again later in the process, it was accepted. A truly fascinating approach to negotiations. The experience continued to be impressive as both the mortgage company and title company expressed concerns about the agent’s communication style, professionalism, and the way he handled interactions throughout the transaction. We personally experienced unnecessary hostility and accusations that made an already stressful process even more challenging. At the end of the day, we love our new home and are grateful for how everything worked out. However, if we were the sellers, we would have hoped for an agent who approached the sale with stronger communication, professionalism, and advocacy.

We had the absolute best experience working with Mr. Hyojin Joo and his wife, Ms. Park from Bernstein Realty. Since we were relocating from Korea, we had to find a home in Pearland before even arriving in the U.S., which felt overwhelming at first. But Mr. Joo and Ms. Park went above and beyond every step of the way. They were incredibly attentive, responsive, and truly treated us like family. Because we were overseas, they personally visited each home and sent us detailed videos from the outside approach all the way through every room inside. They turned on faucets, checked doors and handles, and carefully looked over everything on our behalf. It really felt like they were there as our eyes and hands, taking care of every little detail for us. Not only did they help us find the right home, but they also supported us throughout the entire relocation and settling process. We genuinely feel that they were a lifesaver during such an important transition in our lives. They are sincere, detail-oriented, honest, and truly care about their clients. We have never met realtors like them. We highly recommend them. You will not regret it.

Bernstein Realty has been an absolute dream to work with. My parents worked with Melinda Gordon (the best!!) and referred her to us when we decided to relocate to Houston from New York City. Since it was our first home, we were a little nervous. Melinda was so kind, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. She was always punctual, quick to answer calls/texts and answer any question we had. She made the entire process extremely easy and when we finally closed on our home, I was kind of sad to part ways after our time together! However, we can’t wait to partner with her again for future adventures! Thank you Melinda!!
