Had lunch today with my husband and it was a delight. Best NY deli in town. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip with bagels. Amazing. I ordered the white chicken salad sandwich on white and the portions were large. My husband ordered the French Dip and again...delicious and the portions were great. It was followed up with a chocolate creme pie that was the best.
LOVED LOVED LOVED this place ❤️. Me and my wife did our research on this place . Mark weins and Guy F. Lol,we're here and we follow them when we travel to any state besides our great state of Illinois GO Bears !!! And everyone and everything looked fabulously Delicious and amazing 👏 🤩 so we both said let's do this. The food, atmosphere, and service did not disssapoint Not to mention how clean and friendly everyone was to us That means a lot in this day and age .Our server Oseas was excellent helped us with recommendations and was spot on!!! What a great experience we had here. I needed oxygen when I left i was so stuffed. I highly recommend if in town, or not lol only thing is I did not get to meet the owner 😅
The service and ambience was worth the drive to this Deli. Traditional Jewish food plus a lot of additional items which spans their humongous menu. This is the biggest menu I have seen. We loved the Fish and Chips, the best fish and chips in Texas. The pickle snack is a good starter and you’ll love the retro vibe of the interior. A must visit and you’ll not be disappointed. This is slowly becoming a must stop for Houston trips.
Get the stuffing. Seriously. They will let you get it as a side to your meal and it is awesome. The pickles are great too. Corned beef and cabbage is a solid choice and the stroganoff was a great choice too. Chicken soup is delicious and would hit the spot of you weren't feeling 100%.Desserts are off the charts. Get a babka and a pint of pickles to go
A dream. This restaurant struck awe in me. The service was impeccable. So friendly and helpful. When they brought the food out my mind was blown. I had read reviews that said the portions were generous and they were not fooling. I had their One and Only Ruben and a cucumber salad. It was the best corned beef I've ever had. The russian dressing was perfect. There was nothing about this sandwich that wasn't perfect. The cucumber salad was almost as delicious. I wanted to drink the marinade it so good! My husband had the Boulevard Big Boy burger with macaroni salad. The steak burger was perfectly cooked and so tender. The flavors melded together wonderfully. I could taste it before I put a bite in my mouth. The macaroni salad was creamy and not dry. Then we decided to have dessert. The OMG Cheesecake was divine (not one bite of it came home with us). Over all, nothing, not one thing disappointed us. Except the fact that we couldn't buy everything in the store and we live too far away to eat here every day.
