Tried the Reuben and the meatball sub. I might be biased since I love sour flavors, but I really liked both, especially the reuben. It has good sauerkraut and a tangy sauce. Honestly, I could've used even more sauerkraut, but they definitely don't skimp on the meat. It’s so dense, it could be enough for two lunches. My only critique is the rye bread and pastrami seemed like its freshness was fading. Maybe it’s more tender earlier in the day as opposed to dinner time. I went about 6:30PM. Since good sandwich shops are rare to find in Houston, this is worth a stop.
Just discovering this sandwich shop for the first time and it far exceeded my expectations. Most Houston sandwich shops fall short with the quality of their bread or their meat is overly processed. This sourdough bread was divine, the turkey is hand carved, and the other ingredients are fresh and delicious. These guys know what they’re doing. Will be back!
What a treat! They do not make sandwich shops like this anymore. So happy we stumbled upon this restaurant for a delicious lunch today. My husband had the meatball sandwich and I made a roast beef sandwich on sourdough. Both to die for. Highly recommend. We also enjoyed the yummy bread pudding but now I am craving the banana pudding I saw in the case. lol. The staff was beyond helpful, very kind, and super patient as I looked over the menu for the first time. We will be back!
Truly can not say enough good things about this one. The food is excellent. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The decor is great. I tried the “Ham & Egg” which is a ham sandwich with egg salad. Never in my life have I thought to put these two things together, but it was delicious. The pasta salad was perfection. Had a huge oatmeal raisin cookie for dessert.
Quirky Star Wars themed sandwich shop. We have had multiple sandwiches, our favorites are the chicken salad and grilled cheese. The wedge is great as it has perfect amount if dressing and cheese. Always enjoy their wine and just trued the creamy smooth banana pudding, YUM!
