Bayou City Seafood and Pasta was a great experience overall. I started with the Cajun fried deviled eggs and fried shrimp—both were cooked perfectly and full of that Southern flavor you hope for. The red beans and rice were good, though they could use a little more seasoning to really make them pop, but I still enjoyed them. The real standout was the Zeus pasta—it was absolutely amazing and easily the highlight of the meal. On top of that, the service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Definitely a spot I’d come back to and recommend.
From South Ms so I have a good taste for seafood. Was a little skeptical at first about eating seafood in Texas but all food was great. Our waiter, Riley, knew just what to recommend and waited on us perfectly! Glass never went empty and food was brought out fast. Very friendly service. Will come back.
I came here for Fathers Day and they messed up on my plate so when my party was done eating, my plate would have come out. I will not be back here. This was all I had to eat while I was here, so disappointing in this establishment, especially since I’ve loved eating here before. On top of that, when my son went to go wipe his face with his napkin after eating his food, he found a big wad of green gum and his black linen napkin. and the manager on duty didn’t seem to give a shit. Good luck to anybody who eats here and hopefully you don’t get sick..
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible service and unforgettable food! We had an absolute blast at Bayou City last night! A massive shout-out to Amanda at the bar—her customer service was top-tier from start to finish. She was welcoming, attentive, and made sure our entire experience was fantastic. Big kudos to the kitchen staff as well, because every single dish that came out was hit out of the park: * Blackened Shrimp: Cooked to perfection with just the right kick of spice. * Crawfish-Topped Salmon: Absolutely phenomenal flavor combination! * Cheeseburger: Pure comfort food perfection—juicy and top-notch. Our entire meal was delicious. Great vibes, amazing drinks, outstanding food, and stellar service thanks to Amanda. We’ll definitely be back!
This was my first time in Houston. This was a nice , clean and spacious restaurant, and I appreciated that the parking was free. Our server Chewy was friendly, engaging, and quick. I also appreciated that he knew the menu well enough to guide us in the right direction. Our appetizer and drinks were enjoyable. I had the alligator bites and calamari, However, the Poboy sandwich was dry. The breading didn’t stay on the fish and it lack flavor and seasoning the red snapper wasn’t good either the same with that breading. I’m not a fan of bread pudding. I didn’t enjoy this either. Glad it was free.
