On 18 March 2026, my wife and I ate lunch at Bluewater Seafood on FM1960 and we were very pleased with the quality of both the food and the service. Our server, Amanda, was efficient, taking our drink and appetizer orders promptly, and she brought us plates and silverware for our appetizers, which many restaurants don’t do these days. The appetizers we ordered were the alligator bites, the loaded green tomatoes, and the oyster sampler (with 3 each of the 4 oyster options); they were all superb. My wife and I both thought that Bluewater Seafood’s alligator bites, along with the remoulade sauce, were significantly better than other local options. I grew up eating fried green tomatoes, and Bluewater Seafood’s were among the best that I’ve ever eaten. Their oyster sampler was also delicious. My wife ordered the crawfish etouffee and it was excellent. I ordered the shrimp and grits with extra jalapenos, and it was also fantastic. My wife got a side of rice and I got the fried okra; again, both scrumptious. Indeed, my wife commented on how well Bluewater Seafood’s breading adhered to their fried okra. Finally, we got a kick out of the pirate and lighthouse decorations inside and outside the restaurant. Bottom line: you can get good food and good service at Bluewater Seafood on FM1960 for a fair price.

I got the best service ever, and the food was delicious. I have been coming for years. Both of my kids grew up on Bluewater Seafood. We love getting the Bluewater Boil, the calamari, and this time I ordered boudin too. I go to both Bluewater Seafood restaurants, but my daughter wanted to sit inside and picked this one because the inside space is bigger. My server was amazing and checked on us and made sure we had refills and everything we needed. I will always come back for the food and the great service from their staff.

OMG just look at the video I have below we were treated 😴😭 I called corporate it did make since we ordered had a problem kindly told the waitress fried green tomatoes was soggy full of grease (on video below) normally I order crabs The Trio this time I changed up my husband did get what he wanted sent it back it was the approach from the second waitress, if I was standing up I would’ve went in self defense mode. We knew what spirits we were dealing with so I’m glad I was sitting it could’ve gotten ugly😱. another waitress came out like she was ready to jump on us we did not tell we weren't mad she told the manager we got hostile with her, we only explained that problem was already address to our waitress. we are ministers we come in peace we did not inform them of that, but they wanted to put us out it seems. We were in shock we thought maybe they had the wrong couple. We asked who told her these things she wouldn’t tell us , she stated (somebody). We stated you just assumed it was us the only black couple in the restaurant besides the ones sitting in the corner in the next booth next to us actually they had an issue too but the blk female helping them addressed their issue and that was it. We spent $19.98 we spent on blue water Hawaiian drink is not worth it did not taste no alcohol so I thought it was just a drink on the soda an tea menu. Not worth 20$ I was so hurt an disappointed I never had that experience with the other Blue water seafood on 2920 that use to be my favorite place even though we had issues we paid for everything and left a good tip but check out the videos below. The waitress that came out with intentions they stated we weren’t the first it’s why she left we actually didn’t see her anymore hopefully they fired her. I need a job 🤫🤭🫣

Excellent food. I had the Gulf oysters, crawfish, soft shell crab and gumbo. Javier was the bartender and he was very professional and attentive. I would highly recommend this place for those looking for a great seafood experience

I recently gave this place a try and my waiter Colton was absolutely amazing. He checked on me the right amount of times and answered any questions about the menu I had. I gave the fried green tomatoes a try and I must say I will be back to try more!
