Absolutely delicious seafood! Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor, but the flounder was definitely my favorite 🤩 perfectly cooked and so tasty. The micheladas were AMAZING too, seriously some of the best I’ve had. Great food, great drinks, and such a good experience overall. Can’t wait to come back!

This is the perfect after-work spot. We loved the setup- the central bar in the middle is set up great for quick service and easy ordering. The servers are hustling and so speedy. We had our food within minutes. Fantastic oysters and gumbo. Micheladas here are a must. Overall good prices. We love this spot and will be back!

Most decent seafood restaurant in Cypress area. The price is the same as 3 years ago. The waiter and bartender are very friendly and hospitality!! The seafood is so fresh!! The raw oysters are the best part of the restaurant!! We ate 2 dozens!! The Whole catfish’s were amazing!! Fully recommended!!

We’ve been coming to Captain Tom’s for the past 15 years, and it never disappoints. This place is not your typical restaurant/bar — there are no TVs, it’s usually packed, and the atmosphere is all about great food and good company. Our favorite waiters, Juan Carlos and Christopher, always treat us like family and make every visit feel special. If you’re planning to sit at the bar, be prepared to wait because it fills up fast. If you’re coming with a big family or group, the outside seating is the way to go. Everything on the menu is amazing, but our go-to is the salt-and-pepper flounder when they have it in stock. The oysters are always fresh, the food is consistently good, and the micheladas are perfect — flavorful without being too spicy. After 15 years, it’s still one of our favorite spots. Highly recommend!

I pass by this place coming from work. So, I stopped to check it out. This place is a watering hole for people that drink. They come in and order food and ,get drunk before the food comes and ,then they think that what they're eating is good. I ordered the Seafood platter and a cup of gumbo. The gumbo was horrible. The platter was not worth it . The fries were good though. I didn't want the oysters and, he said that he would give me 1 extra shrimp. He was so rude and nasty. Maybe he had a bad day, if you.can't stand the heat , get out of the kitchen. Why take it off on the paying customers. I asked for a glass of water and, he told me that "he will get it ask him" and I was looking for whomever him was and I went to the end of the bar. I was not going to try and, get in between the people that was sitting there drinking their drinks. This place is tight and there was no way to squeeze in. I went back and asked him again for some water and he ignored me. If I had choked on that dry shrimp or, fish I would not have had any thing to help me swallow it. Horrific service. The shrimp was hard and rubbery. The fish had a fishy taste to it. The cocktail sauce was nasty. The so called stuffed crab was nothing but bread .Ugh We have a lot of delicious seafood places around in this area so, I will make sure I return to, Bluewater, Willie's, Aloha, Rockfish, Chimac and BlackBear for delicious seafood and superb service.
