It's crawfish season and there's no better place to be than LA Fisherman! The food quality, taste, and service is impeccable and always in point. We went on a Saturday evening and, while there's about a 30 minute wait, it was well worth it. Food comes out fast and is not over salty like most places. I've been here multiple times and they nail it every single time! Can't recommend them enough!
I used to go to their location off Highway 6 and I loved this place. Admittedly it has been a decade since I've been to any location. So this review may apply to both locations but it definitely applies to my recent visit to their location off Beechnut, which is significantly smaller than the Hwy. 6 one. Let's start off with their list of rules. They will not see an incomplete party. They will not split checks. And they do not offer gloves, even at an extra cost. Also this is not a rule but the only alcohol they serve is beer. I think every one of their servers was very pleasant. They were very clear about pricing and met any requests. I will say that they charged us for live crawfish. I asked and they validated that it was all live crawfish. But in the peak season for crawfish they had an extremely diverse range of sizes. With an equal amount of small medium and large, so I'm sus. The garlic butter seasoning was acceptable but lacked the copious amounts of fresh garlic I was expecting. Parking was easy and free. The bathrooms need to be looked at. All they were relatively clean the soap dispensers were broken so you had to figure that out and there were no paper towels.
I honestly originally had a problem with the restaurant, but I went back to eat there and the managers, Willy Jr , Quac and his supervisor, we’re very understanding and prepared a very nice meal for me and my family. I appreciate how you fixed the issue wisely and leaving you a five star review for the food and service that you have provided today along with pictures of the food that we ordered. *****Can you please have your 2 guys that work in the kitchen, Sr S and Lil Woll remove these horrible reviews they put on my website?? You had promised me that they would.*****
No complaints....The Service, Food & Atmosphere were a 10. Me and my daughter had dinner here on Friday. We ordered 2 pounds of crawfish & a shrimp basket. Everything was fresh & nothing was over seasoned...I enjoyed eating here without my blood pressure spiking.. I hadn't been here since 2012 but I will be back soon. Thanks
The service and atmosphere were great. I didnt like the raw oyster that much but the shrimp is very good, big and juicy. The mild sauce would be just a kick at the beginning but it will be hella spicy to the end. The restroom is very clean. I have to ask for gloves so you might want to prepare it. Great experience tho
