This seafood restaurant is a top pick! Everything was delicious. I had the crabcakes, and they were so good that I ended up ordering another round. The drinks were also fantastic. I tried the red snapper grouper french fries with a side of hot ketchup. I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful everything was. The servers were incredibly hospitable and helpful. I’ve been in Houston for four years now, and this is the first and only restaurant that has left me truly impressed. I gave the atmosphere four stars because the volume was a lot louder than I had expected in the seating area was very squished.

Took family there to mainly try out their oysters, and could not complained about their selection offering. We also had the sturgeon caviar which was very good. We had the tuna, grouper, steak and lamb chops. Every dish was amazing. Our waiter was very attentive and extremely helpful even though the restaurant was fully packed. Overall the four of us truly enjoy every aspect of the restaurant.

We received excellent service from the moment our host greeted us until we drove off. Alvin demonstrated great intuition by managing our reservation and checking in with us throughout the evening. Crystal provided the best service I’ve experienced in the city so far, thanks to her attentiveness and extensive knowledge on and off the menu. Additionally, I highly recommend that every guest indulge in the curated selection of wines offered by the wine director and head sommelier, Omar. We enjoyed a delightful, mineral-forward Ameztoi Getariako Txakolina Blanco, which paired wonderfully with our seafood dishes. Everything, from the cold oysters and lobster on ice to the silky, decadent jumbo lump crab cakes, was outstanding. My partner and I will definitely return for more milestones and meals in the future. Overall, the exceptional service, dining experience, and beverage program deserve at least a Michelin recommendation or a Bib Gourmand.

I discovered this restaurant at the Houston Chronicle Top 100 Culinary Stars event, and it turned into one of the most fabulous dining experiences I’ve had in Texas. The food was exceptional, and the service was on par with the Ritz Carlton Gold Standard. The entire team supporting Kekoa delivered a level of hospitality that stood out immediately. Thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely warm throughout the evening. I fell in love with the scallop chowder, with each bite somehow more delicious than the last. Pair that with the sourdough bread service, complete with spirulina salt and butter, and it became a moment I’m still thinking about. By the end of dinner, I was happily full and had to skip dessert, though they looked incredibly tempting. This is a place I would return to any day now that I’ve made this discovery. The service left such an impression that I found myself talking about it with friends long after the meal. Bravo to the entire team.

Definitely in the top 10 restaraunts of Houston. I came here to break my fast and ate a ton of different dishes, all of them were very high quality, portioned well, and flavorful. We got the following: Oysters raw and baked - prefer the raw but baked was also very good. East coast > gulf for oysters. Crab cake Octopus - some of the softest octopus I've had Crab gnocchi Bread basket For the mains we got Texas red fish - delicious fish with olives and lemon very refreshing Grouper - a bit on the fatter side for fish, sauce was very flavorful Fried snapper - very good We also, got the fries, mashed potatoes and the fried eggplant (favorite side dish) Overall super impressed, ambiance was nice and the food was very good
