We really enjoyed this place for happy hour! I did not know that happy hour is only for the bar and outdoor seating just an FYI which we did not mind. The burger, calamari, gumbo and oysters were really good. I was not a big fan of the beef tenderloin chops. They were smaller than expected and a bit sweet. We will definitely be coming back. Also, updated menu as of August 2026. They have less options for the $5 sections compared to a year ago. The prices did go up a little bit.

We can't say enough good things about Loch Bar, especially the warm vibe and excellent care we always receive from Tabatha, Kiyanna, and Arianna. They're all a huge asset to the Atlas Group, as are all of the lovely staff who take care of us. (Props to the highly professional and friendly valet service, which is among the best in Houston.) If you love fresh oysters, Loch Bar is a wonderland. Each week their offerings change, usually 6-8 types that you can try one at a time or more. My husband is an oyster aficionado, and he says these are the freshest he's found in Houston. He's also super-impressed with the cold water oyster selection. Me, I just love reading the fun names like Shooting Point, Boomamoto, and Pink Lady. But even I know these are top-notch because sitting across from his plate, all I smell is clean, pleasant brine and ocean that tells you how fresh these are. Not a seafood lover? You'll still love Loch Bar's many other offerings that range from homemade tater tots (YUM) to steak lettuce wraps to super-crispy chicken and waffles and French toast for weekend brunch. We love LB and will be back soon to see what new treats are in store!

We were in the area and decided to stop in for a late lunch and drinks, and it ended up being a great choice. The happy hour menu was fantastic, it gave us the chance to sample a variety of oysters, along with the chicken and sausage gumbo and the bone-in filet chops. We also ordered a lobster roll that was outstanding, packed with large chunks of lobster. For drinks, we had a Tito’s cocktail and an Old Fashioned, both of which were well done. Everything was delicious overall. The gumbo leaned a bit more tomato-forward and thicker than I usually prefer, but it was still very good. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Loving the service, atmosphere, and hospitality from our waitress Jada ! Thank you for the wonderful Anniversary celebration night. Definitely order the lobster roll along with the fresh oyster. Drinks were spot on with wonderful flavor and booziness. Will definitely be back !

We went to Loch Bar without realizing it was their $1 oyster special Wednesday, so that was a very happy surprice. We were also celebrating my mom and dad's birhtdays and the server was incredibily kind and attentive during the whole dinner. He even surprised us with free slices of cake for the both of them, which was veyr thoughtful and appreciated. The oysters were fresh and delicious, and the overall atmosphere was warm and enjoyable. We started with the crab and artichoke dip and the bone in filet chops, and I don't have much to say about them. For entrées, the herb roasted branzino was the clear standout of the night. It was excellent, along with the oysters and the lobster pasta. I would probably skip the Maine lobster roll next time. It was fine, I would much rather order another dozen or two of oysters instead. For sides, we had the honey sriracha fried Brussels sprouts and the shells and cheese, and both were very good. Between the great food, the thoughtful service, and the nice ambiance, it was a memorable experience. I would definitely come back, especially for the oysters. One complaint my parents had was that it was super dark inside but that's not a big problem at all.
