The facilities are kept very clean and the elevators are maintained and in good shape. There are several security measures in place to keep your things safe; I have no concerns. More importantly, the parking and loading dock in the back is shaded and large enough to fit a couple moving crews and any parked cars. The management/customer service is top notch. Lisa was looking fly in her leopard print blouse and has an attitude to match. I’d never used a storage unit before so she had to walk me through everything and ensured my energetic children were soothed with lollipops.
I just signed up for a unit while I renovate my house and Lisa made the walkthrough and explanation super easy. The facility conditions are great and I have left with a great sense of security for my belongings. Looking forward to the peace of mind that comes with using Big Tex!

Love my Big Tex experience- best storage place I’ve found in the Heights and the prices are great. Searched many other spots and this was hands down the best pic. Lisa in the front office is super friendly and helpful!
Great experience from start to finish. Check-in was quick and easy — the whole process was smooth and straightforward. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Climate-controlled unit is exactly what I needed for storing items while staging my home. Highly recommend Big Tex in The Heights if you're looking for storage in the area.
