Day two of the attendant not being on site during normal business hours Friday hours. Customer service is a JOKE and lacks basic empathy. If my balance is paid i should be able to access my items. Being told the site is closed today for “maintenance” was a lie. The worker called out, I came yesterday and he again was not here. my items are at the mercy of their decision to come to work.
I was going to rent a unit as its very convenient to where I live, but no employees and no access during "business hours" for a few days. The national number only takes you to an unhelpful AI bot. The parent company NSA is no help either.
We had a very frustrating experience with iStorage. We went twice during their posted business hours, and no one was there either time with no explanation. The phone number listed connects you to a national call center, not the actual location, which made it even more difficult to get help. While we were able to access the unit we rented online, the latch was too small for a standard storage lock, so we couldn’t properly secure it. Due to these issues, we’ll be canceling our contract as soon as possible. Unfortunately, they’ve lost our business.
Filed a police and BBB report as today is day 2 of being unable to gather my stored items. Balance has been cleared on my account yet overlock remains as attendant has called out two days in a row. I have cancelled two flights and lost money on movers because of the lack of communication and responsibility of iStorage. I will make sure I deter any further customers from this location. Like many other reviews have mentioned in the past, there are issues with the front office being staffed during posted office hours. I’ve gone twice now, once this past Friday around 4 pm (waited about 30 minutes hoping someone would pop up) and again today around 230 pm with nobody in the front office to assist me. I have no choice but to interact with management so I can access my unit but when is someone actually there? I’m actively trying to get here during business hours and work that in with my personal schedule so this has definitely been frustrating to say the least. The online registration was very simple but having to interact with staff on site has been far from simple. Would not recommend unless the staffing situation gets sorted out. I’m hoping I’ll be able to figure out soon when someone is there so I can get my unit sorted out and my stuff out asap.
