My 1st and last time patronizing this business. My appointment wasn't started on time and my time wasn't made up for. The service itself was "okay" at best, definitely nothing worth bragging about. The lady that did my facial, her breath was horrible(all employees NEED to do morning and daily breath checks since they're in very close proximity of clients). Whatever they put on my face had my face VERY itchy. I truly think they REUSE the hand towels WITHOUT washing them. I used the restroom and saw a basket of folded washcloths on top of the table, there were also several in the under the sink "trash can". After my facial, I went to the restroom again and noticed there were additional hand towels in the basket and the "trash can" empty. The additional towels looked like the damn looking towels that were in the trash can. They also tried to upsell me their high skin care products but I purchased none. I definitely would not recommend this business.
Stay far away from Skinful Aesthetics. I spent $1,100 in two days and felt pressured into spending that money. I was unhappy with the results, unhappy with how my face was left, and deeply regret ever going there. What makes this even worse is that I was told I would get a refund, and that never happened. Instead, she fought my dispute with the bank. On top of that, she keeps trying to get my review taken down instead of taking accountability for what happened. That is shady behavior, plain and simple. Reporting and fighting honest reviews does not change what I experienced. She also spoke to me in a completely unprofessional way, including talking about rent and pricing during our interactions, which was inappropriate and uncomfortable. Between the pressure, the broken promise of a refund, the bank dispute, and the attempts to remove my review, I would strongly warn others to stay away.
Natalie was fantastic! Highly recommend, she’s an expert in her field. I felt so relaxed and clean after my microdermabrasion!
I had an amazing experience with Lauren! She gave me a facial and microdermabrasion massage, and my skin feels so good! She was incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and made me feel so relaxed throughout the entire process. My skin is glowing, and I can already see a difference in its texture and clarity. Lauren’s attention to detail and passion for what she does truly shine through. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for top-notch skincare treatments. Can’t wait for my next appointment!
Great experience! The salon is beautiful and everyone was super friendly and helpful with getting me registered, checked in, and consent forms signed. The actual facial service with Lauren was really great. It was very relaxing. Lauren provided great information on proper products for my skin type as well as recommended services. They have an awesome membership program, but couldn’t sign up for it right away, as I have some upcoming travel out of the country. When I am back in Houston, will definitely return!
