Me and wife decided to try this place out. Fabian was our waiter. He was cool. We Walked right in and was seated. I have 3 complaints. We ordered the salmon eggrolls for our appetizer(1 out of 5). We received this 10min after our entree came out. Our entree was catfish and grits and oxtails and grits. Catfish was good, grits was bottom tier grits. Wife only got 3 small oxtails on her plate. The forks was really dirty, ask for a new set they just gave us plastic forks. That’s a tell tale sign of how they clean in the back. Music and vibe was cool but food not that great.

First time going to this place and we are originally from Louisiana and were looking for some good home cooked food and when I say this place was definitely a SCORE!!!! Everything was delicious. Had a catfish plate with mac & cheese, side of spaghetti and 4 fried shrimp on the side also smothered turkey wings over a bed of rice & peas with a side of collard greens…..everything was cooked to perfection and obviously made with love the meat was falling off the bone and the catfish was crispy and perfectly cooked I had no complaints all the food was a win! and our server CJ was amazing! Very knowledgeable of the menu very energetic and funny I’m glad he was chose to be our server because he made my experience a very good one his personality fits the environment and should always be recognized for his good work THANKS CJ! This place is a 10/10 highly recommend. And to the CHEF you’re greatly appreciated. See you all again soon.

We do a date night & love good food! Valet was $10, not terrible. The host wasn’t memorable, maybe she said welcome maybe she didn’t. She did ask if we had a reservation we were 10-15 mins early & was sat right away. We ordered jerk chicken tacos for an appetizer which were good. I had lamb chops broccolini and candied yams (yams was SMACKIN’!) and my chops were good too. My partner had the stuffed fried red snapper or something like that. It was FULL of bones as it was a whole fish and just made it a nuisance to eat. Our food was good. Our drink was a little strong. Customer service was super mid, maybe low-mid. We spent a pretty penny too! The food was good, however, it’s kind of pricey for soul food and the customer service was fair to mid at best. Not to mention the 20% service charge for parties of TWO or more. Yeah, I don’t think we have to come back here.

Khalil and Fabion was our server and gave us the best experience! I had a great experience! The prices matched the generous portions, so I definitely felt like I got my money’s worth. I ordered the Thanksgiving rolls, greens, shrimp fried rice, and pork chops, and everything was flavorful, fresh, and cooked just right. The pork chops were tender, the greens were well-seasoned, and the shrimp fried rice was packed with flavor. I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu!

⭐☆☆☆☆ 1 Star Review Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. It took over an hour for our food to arrive, and when it finally came, it was not worth the wait. The food was extremely salty and over-seasoned. My daughter’s pasta looked nothing like what was advertised, which was very disappointing. To make matters worse, after we placed our order, we were informed that several menu items we wanted—including the turkey wings and jerk chicken—were unavailable. While the employee who delivered that news was courteous and professional, our waitress provided poor customer service throughout the visit. Parking was also an issue, as there is very limited parking available and guests are charged to park because of the location. The music was excessively loud, making it difficult to enjoy a meal or have a conversation. Overall, between the long wait time, unavailable menu items, poor service, parking issues, and disappointing food quality, this was not a pleasant dining experience. I would not return to this location and would not recommend it to others.
