I visited this gem today. Cole was very sweet and patient because I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I ended up getting the catfish and shrimp. She offered me a drink on the house while I waited. The restaurant gave nostalgic vibes like back in the day when we went to grandmas house and I loved it. Food was good and hot, definitely a must see 😍

Excellent Southern Cuisine Soul Food Joint...ask for Keisha and theybwill deliver as I ordered the Meatloaf w/2 Sides Sweet Potatoes/Collard Greens both to perfection and the Meatloaf great flavor..also the Chicken Wings excellent crunch and the Catfish Filets w/2 sides great flavor profiles...has Dine-In searing with Music Histoey everywhere old Vinyl Records R&B...a full-bar and crazy deserts from Peach cobbler (great flavor profile w/dash of cinnamon), Red Velvet Cake, Lemon 🍋 Pound Cake and Sweet Potato Pie 🥧...she does it all everything made to order and deserts homemade. 5 🍴 🍴 🍴 🍴 🍴 out 5

I ordered from door dash this was my first time trying the food , first off I liked the prices I purchased the oxtails, rice , black eyed peas, collard greens and extra muffin and the red velvet cake. The oxtails were tender, they give you three , the rice was under meat , the greens were good a lot of stems I'm guessing from a bag, the peas were okay I didn't like the muffins just a little hard they weren't jiffy , the cake seem like it was probably purchased from maybe Sysco foods defrosted and served one good thing to me the food didn't have a lot of seasoning so it didn't raise my blood pressure. I only gave it a 1star but the price was good for oxtail plate because at other soul food restaurant they asking $38-$45 for oxtails, I did notice in the review section the owners only respond to the positive comments but getting both positive and negative comments help the restaurant and public so we can make a decision based on pros and cons, the key to longevity is to respond to all the feedback from all customers that helps you build, I probably won't order again but I wish them the best and hope they improve on the food and try and respond to all feedback it shows that you care about all your customers even if it's a bad review you can make improvements

As a first timer, it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was cute, cool, and calm. But the food BAYYYYYBEEEE…. Made with luv 😍 We had the oxtails and the smothered pork chops and both hit the spot. Very flavorful and seasoned perfectly. Defiantly going back.

Eating here for the first time. Enjoyed everything we had. The collard greens were some of the tastiest. Fried catfish was moist and delicious. Pretty much all the sides we had were yummy and seasoned well. Service was with a smile and efficient. Even had dessert, butter cream cake, yummy 😋. This place is cute, just clean and comfortable. Dine-in or take out. Bonus, nice chill music in the background.
