I love to go here to eat, the staff is always friendly when I walk in to pick up my food. Most times I park in front of the restaurant and order off of Doordash. My food is always ready before pick up time. The container is small, but they pile it on, remind me of myself when I go to Chinese Buffet to go.I only eat the oxtail there, always tender and I eat off of my plate twice. I normally get greens and cabbage, I ate my leftovers last night and the cabbage was very salty. I ate all of greens the day before. They cook cabbage the way I like them. I went to bed and woke up a few hours later and my pressure was high. Normally I don't use salt are buy salty stuff, one chip will run my pressure up. The food was outstanding as usual, but you need to lighten up on the salt.Like

I had seen Katherine’s Soul Food on commercials after different churches services. I was thinking ok another soul food place. Well lo and behold one of my good friends decided to go for lunch. I tell you I ordered the smothered turkey necks with mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet yams and macaroni and cheese. It was so good and delicious 8 went back the next day to order the fish and shrimp. Katherine’s Soul Food is one of those hidden gems 💎 that reminds you of your grandmother’s cooking on a Sunday afternoon after church. I will return again and try the fried ribs. They have so much to chose from and their portions are perfect. The customer service is amazing as well!😘

From the time we walked into this spot, we were treated like family warm welcome and outstanding service. When I say everything we ordered on the menu was out of this world 🌎 good. Fried ribs, ox tails collard green max and cheese corn bread Kool aid. And let's know forget the ladies that just made this this trip all the more pleasant and memorable. Just had to take pictures with them. Best Soul Food in Texas hands down.
