I booked a facial at Houston Retreat through Groupon and, unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The first issue was parking. Because of the car wash next door, it was difficult to access the spa’s parking lot. I had to park in an adjacent lot behind the building and hope my car wouldn’t be towed, which made for a stressful start. When I arrived, the receptionist was friendly and polite, but she also appeared to be the esthetician. I was taken back to the treatment room, instructed to change, and then left alone with the steam machine on my face for what felt much longer than is typical. I’ve had many facials over the years, and this stood out as unusual. The facial itself felt rushed and lacked the relaxing, spa-like experience I was expecting. The cleansing was very abrasive, the movements felt hurried, and the water used to rinse my face was cold. There was nothing soothing or luxurious about the treatment. It felt more like someone trying to finish as quickly as possible than providing a quality facial. The appointment also ended very abruptly. I was simply told, “Okay, that’s it, we’re done,” and she left the room. There were no instructions about getting dressed, no follow-up, and none of the small touches that typically make a spa visit feel welcoming, such as offering water or simply checking in afterward. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, especially since the staff member was courteous, but this was honestly the least enjoyable facial I’ve ever received. I hope this feedback helps improve the overall client experience.

I had received a gift certificate to use here. I had difficulty booking an appointment as the phone number wasn’t working. They did respond to my email and found alternate phone number on Facebook page. I booked a massage. I was only patron on a weekday morning. However, I had one of the best massages from Tom. Really worked on the knots in my shoulders. Would return again.

I wanted a Back Facial Treatment and Ms. Shayla helped me today! She was super great and I could tell she has tons of experience! The whole process took one hour as she did steaming, extraction, masque, toning, moisturizing, etc! This is great, because I am wanting to wear a backless dress this weekend but needed a great cleanse for any acne or oil built up in my pores & she is the one to go to! I’d recommend her! My boyfriend had Mr. Tom for his Hydrating Facial, also for one hour. This was his first time getting a facial and he didn’t know what to expect. He was scared at first, but his skin looked amazing afterwards! I could tell a difference! Excellent job Mr. Tom! In total of services, I spent $130! Wow! Such a great price with great service! I will be coming back as they are so welcoming and they take the time to tend to your needs. Ask for their discounts or any sale going on if you want to try the first time. I am a spa lover so I go to many places. Their spa is so beautiful, spacious, and the well dim lit environment is so soothing. Nice, clean place to relax by yourself or with someone. Thank you again Ms. Shayla & Mr. Tom!

We chose this location for our sister's 40th Birthday party. It was INCREDIBLE. The entire staff was amazing. From check in to the massages. Naomi was phenomenal from helping us get set up to making sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend for your next spa party.

I enjoyed my massage from Naomi so much, she was very professional and cautious around my painful spots she did stretching before she started in with a deep massage that slowed went into a soft and soothing therapeutic massage that gave me healing and peace of mind in knowing that I can always come here and get the spa services that I need with NO DOUBT in my mind that she will get the job done every time. I have gotten a spa scalp massage and facial from her before as well which she did amazing at as well. I love this business and would definitely refer to ALL my friends and family and be sending them here for soa day treats ❤️💋🥰
