Coach Nancy Zumaya has been an incredible influence on our daughter, Saylor, and her volleyball experience. We truly appreciate her positivity and the determination she brings to bring out the best in every player on her team. She creates a supportive and encouraging environment while still holding the girls to a high standard. Saylor has grown so much in both her skills and confidence this season. Coach Nancy Zumaya’s energy, leadership, and genuine care for her players really stand out. We are so grateful for everything she pours into this team—Saylor has learned so much, and we couldn’t ask for a better coach.

Took my daughter and a team mate to a Pre-tryout clinic today and we were very disappointed by our experience there. The girls have been playing for 3 years and came in to practice with middle schoolers since they are both going to 7th grade. During the entire 1.5 hours of the clinic no coaching took place. In fact, all the coaches on their court were rude and had a very bad attitude. It felt like they didn’t want to be there. The drills were messy without any real instruction or corrections. We went to scope out this club as a potential alternate to our current club. However after today we realized that we just need to stay at our current club. Our coaches and staff never have that type of attitude towards the girls, much less to new potential players. Left with a very bad impression and won’t be returning.

They charge $7.00 for Seniors to enter. That's too high!!! They do not allow outside food and drinks to enter. The courts are really close to each other, and although I like the bleachers on both sides of the courts, the noise level is ridiculous!!! The restrooms are clean, witchcraft was nice. The concession area is clean, I appreciated that!!! They have TVs in the concession tables area, which was nice during the Superbowl Halftime show!! The parking sucks. Overall, it's a nice clean gym, but too far for us from Deer Park, and too expensive for the entry fee. Noise level is too high!

We hate it when we have have to come here for tournaments. The court floors are old curled/deformed vinyl tiles, cupped in the middle and raised around the edges and it hurts the girls to dive on them. The bathrooms are disgusting, like a run-down truck stop. It's hot as hades in here because the place is a commercial warehouse space, not well insulated, and has 18x metal roll-up doors with ZERO insulation, just radiating all the heat of texas straight into the bleachers area. It's an acoustic nightmare. Volleyball tournaments are always a cacophony but there is something special about this place that makes it twice as bad. It's an unending auditory assault. And the staff are RUDE like the people at the DMV. They never have enough parking, but that's typical of a Volleyball club at tournament time.

Coach Nancy Zumaya and the staff at HJV fast complex are amazing! My daughter learned so much and gained so many skills over the past season and the past two years. The facilities are wonderful. The people and families are so friendly and we had such a great experience. I would 100% recommend Coach Nancy to anyone!
