I reached out to Staff Force because of the incredible reviews from people who shared how the agency helped them get back to work. Those stories gave me hope as I re-enter the workforce after taking a sabbatical to care for my father and following a difficult experience in a previous role. I noticed the website lists opportunities beyond warehouse and logistics, including administrative, customer service, data entry, accounting, and even graphic design. Since my background includes luxury retail operations, inventory control, receiving, customer experience, and graphic design, I called to ask about those opportunities. While I understand job availability changes daily, I was disappointed that there seemed to be little interest to no interest in learning about my background or discussing future opportunities. Instead, I was simply advised to contact another branch. There was also zero compassion or empathy to understand what one goes through trying to find work after taking a year off to care for your family. When I called the East location, Roxanne provided a completely different experience. She was welcoming, informative, and honest about what was available while still taking the time to discuss where my experience might fit. I left that conversation feeling encouraged. She COMPLETELY understood how difficult It is to find work after taking a year off. I'm sharing this because the reviews led me to expect a candidate-centered experience, and unfortunately, I didn't feel that at the branch closest to me. I hope this feedback encourages more engagement with candidates whose experience may not match today's openings but could be a great fit for tomorrow's. I would absolutely welcome the opportunity to work with this location in the future.
